The only thing different about these cavern types is the way they look. Otherwise, they are all the same.

After construction of a Tool Store, a Teleport Pad, a Power Station, and an upgrade of each to level 1, you can build the Support Station. A Support Station will refill the air supply and maintain it for a certain number of Rock Raiders, meaning that if you teleport down too many, the fresh air supply will decrease and you'll have to construct more Support Stations.

These Beams can be used by Rock Raiders without any training and are quite useful against monsters. One shot will normally take them down.

The spiders are called Small Spiders and when a Rock Raider steps on one, he will fall down and it will take a few seconds for him to get back up. Big Bats are called simply Bats and they just scare Rock Raiders when they get too near them. The Slimy Slugs are the only real threat because they can suck the energy out of Energy Crystals.

The Laser Beam can neutralize a Rock Monster with one shot whereas the Pusher Beam will push the Rock Monster back and stun it temporarily. The Ice Beam will do a little damage and freeze it in a block of ice for a limited time before it defrosts and becomes active again.

There is no underwater monster, just like there's no underwater cavern type.

The Ice Monster will react the same way a Rock Monster will except the Ice Beams will not have any effect. When a monster is neutralized, it breaks down into three smaller forms of itself that run around harmlessly.

The Rapid Rider needs a sailor, the Tunnel Scout needs a pilot, and the Loader Dozer, although it uses a driver, is a large vehicle. The Small Digger is a quick vehicle but its drills are not the best in the game.

There is a small transport truck but no large transport truck. The STT can carry up to three Energy Crystals or pieces of Ore until its carry capacity is upgraded to where it it can carry double that amount.

Answer: Tunnel Scout

The Tunnel Scout is a piloted vehicle that can fly over any terrain. The Hover Scout is the only other vehicle that needs a pilot but it can ONLY go over land: no water, no lava.

All that stuff and you only need one Rock Raider to drive it! It can take out hard rock (the hardest rock in the game) and defend itself when attacked by monsters.

The Super Teleport Pad is used to transport down the Loader Dozer, the Granite Grinder, the Large Mobile Laser Cutter and the Chrome Crusher.

I'm assuming they chose this colour only for safety purposes because it isn't the best uniform I've seen, even by Lego standards. From what I've been able to gather, they seem to be heavily pocketed with a lot of straps to hold tools.

This is to keep track of upgraded and trained Rock Raiders. A fully upgraded Rock Raider (Level 3) can carry up to five tools.

Although this is kind of cool, there aren't many places where it's worth the time, resources, or effort. It can't carry the Hover Scout, The Small Mobile Laser or any of the large vehicles.

Demolitions Experts can carry dynamite to selected rock faces and Geologists have the same ability Vehicle scanners have. Demolitions Experts can be trained at a level 3 Tool Store and Geologists can be trained at a Geological Center.

The spanner can only be used by Engineers which can be trained at the Upgrade Station. Engineers use spanners to fix damaged buildings and such.

All types of rock can be detonated, with the exempt of hard rock of course. Dirt and loose rock, however, can be drilled while hard rock can't.

Ore Seams and Energy Crystal Seams both give out 4 of their respective minerals while being drilled while Recharge Seams can recharge Energy Crystals that have had their power drained (either by a Slimy Slug or laser usage).

One Energy Crystal can power one building and they're used to teleport down buildings and vehicles. You'd wonder what kind of energy can be extracted from a glowing green crystal.
