Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What colored line would be used if it was a 'regular' line?

Answer: blue

The blue lines are used for normal speed and physics of the rider. If you draw a line left to right it will be a floor line, and if you draw a line right to left it will be a ceiling line.
2. What colored line would be used for acceleration?

Answer: red

The red lines are used to make the rider go faster. Drawing a line right to left would result in a ceiling line (the opposite of a floor line).
3. What colored lines would be used for scenery?

Answer: green

The green lines are used for scenery to decorate your track. The rider will go through these lines. It does not matter if you draw your scenery lines left to right or right to left.
4. What is used to move around to different areas?

Answer: hand

There is unlimited space to be used for creating your tracks. On the old version, Beta 1, there was not unlimited space--you could not go higher than the rider started.
5. How many tracks are you allowed to save on your computer?

Answer: There is no limit

You are allowed to save as many tracks as you like. You also have the option of deleting any of your tracks if you do not like them.
6. The original version of "Line Rider" (Beta 1) did not feature which of the following options?

Answer: Straight line tool

There were only six different functions on Beta 1. These were pencil, hand, play, stop, save, and delete track. However, it was possible to draw a straight line by clicking with both left and right parts of the mouse and releasing with the right.
7. In what year was "Line Rider" released?

Answer: 2006

It was released on September 23, 2006 to be exact. It gradually gained its popularity due to a chain reaction.
8. In December 2006, it was announced that Line Rider would be released on which of the following platforms?

Answer: Wii

It was also announced it would be released on Nintendo DS. It has been announced that any tracks you create on Wii can be transferred to your PC version of the game.
9. Who is the creator of "Line Rider"?

Answer: Bostjan Cadez

The game was originally designed as a project for Bostjan's illustrations class. It now is a game that has attracted millions of people!
10. Which tool is useful if you don't want to watch the entire movie again and for landing jumps?

Answer: Flag

The flag button can also sometimes make your rider do something different the next time you play the entire track, and sometimes in a bad way. For example, sometimes when you play it starting with a flag he will not die but when you remove the flag and play the entire track again, he may die.
