Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which button is pressed to use the Missile Launcher?

Answer: Y

The Missile Launcher will be the first new weapon you'll come across in the game. Each Missile Expansion you find will add five Missiles to your grand total. Missiles will be an important commodity in this game since they will destroy many obstacles and enemies in the first half of the game. You'll eventually begin to use your Missiles with Beams and have powerful combinations.
2. Where is the Charge Beam found?

Answer: Chozo Ruins

The Charge Beam will give any of your beams the ability to gain more power and shoot a charged shot when you hold the A button. Using this Charge Beam, you can also create Missile/Beam combos (but only after they're found). The feature will also suck items like Missiles, health, and Power Bombs towards you if they're dropped by enemies or found in crates.
3. How many Morph Ball Bombs can you deploy at once?

Answer: Three

Once you find the Morph Ball Bombs in Chozo Ruins, you can deploy them to destroy certain walls and obstacles. In fact, using Morph Ball Bombs, you can start machines and get more missile expansions. Unlike Power Bombs, you can't upgrade the amount of Morph Ball Bombs you can carry or deploy. Using them at different times can also allow you to reach higher areas.
4. What coloured doors can be opened with the Wave Beam?

Answer: Purple

The Wave Beam is the first new beam you'll come across in the game, and you have to travel deep into the Phendrana Drifts to find it. After you battle your first Adult Sheegoth, you'll be able to switch between beams using the C Stick. The Wave Beam has the ability to power up different switches using high-powered electric beams, and you can finally kill those pesky Bombus that scramble your visor.
5. Where in Phendrana Drifts can you find the Super Missiles?

Answer: Observatory

Super Missiles will be great for destroying those strong Cordite walls and ornaments on Tallon IV. While you are charging your Power Beam, press the Y button to shoot a Super Missile. The Super Missile uses five regular Missiles, but it's worth it to knock out a Chozo Ghost or a Power Trooper. To reach it in the Observatory, you'll need to power up the apparatus and climb to the roof of the room. You can also access a Save Point in this room.
6. What is the minimum amount of Missiles used when the Wavebuster is activated?

Answer: Ten

The Wavebuster is found in the Tower of Light in the Chozo Ruins and it's the second Super Missile/Beam combo in the game. To use it, charge your Wave Beam and press the Y button to unleash a Missile. The technique will use ten Missiles when it's activated, and five more Missiles for every second it's used after that. The Wavebuster is a lot like the beams used on "Ghostbusters".
7. The Ice Beam will create ice platforms on water.

Answer: False

The Ice Beam may be powerful, but it isn't that great. The Ice Beam is one of the slower beams that you'll find in the game, but it will be powerful, and it's especially good against Space Pirates since they'll freeze long enough for you to missile them (and shatter them to pieces). The Ice Beam will open white doors and it can be found in the Antechamber of Chozo Ruins.
8. How many Power Bomb expansions are there in the game?

Answer: Four

Each Power Bomb expansion will raise your amount by one Power Bomb, and like Missiles and health, they can be found in crates or enemies. There's one expansion in both the Chozo Ruins and Magmoor Caverns and two in the Phendrana Drifts. Power Bombs are dropped by pressing Y in Morph Ball mode, and they can break many strong materials including Bendezium.
9. Where is the Plasma Beam found?

Answer: Magmoor Caverns

To reach the Plasma Beam, you'll need to make your way to the upper level of the Geothermal Core in Magmoor Caverns using the Morph Ball/Spider Ball. The Plasma Beam is a great, fast-shooting weapon that will be good against ice enemies. The weapon will also be good against Space Pirates since it will instantly set them on fire. Using this weapon, you'll be able to melt walls of ice to reach expansions and Energy Tanks.
10. The Flamethrower is the Super Missile/Beam combo for the Plasma Beam. What is the combo for the Ice Beam?

Answer: Ice Spreader

The Ice Spreader can be found under the bridge in the Shore Tunnel near the Monitor Station of the Magmoor Caverns. You'll pass it throughout the game, but you won't be able to reach it until you have the Power Bomb to destroy most of the bridge. Both the Ice Spreader and the Flamethrower use ten Missiles, but the Flamethrower will act like the Wavebuster and continue for five Missiles per second afterwords.
