It was published by Sega. The EU version was released in March 2000 and the US version was released in January 2001.

2. Three major cities make up the locations for the race courses in "Metropolis Street Racer". Which are they?

The cities are made very accurately according to how they looked when the game was released.
The courses ranges from short routes like around a Japanese restaurant area to longer routes such as The Birdcage Walk West in London.

Answer: Street Race

"Street Race" is the core part of the game. The first chapter is called "Training". When you meet the requirements for a chapter, you are rewarded with a new car.

Answer: Twenty-five

Each chapter is made up of a series of events, a Hotlap (where you are racing against the clock), and a "One on One" where you race against a single opponent. The rest of the events are "Timed Run", "Challenge", and "Street Race". Each chapter ends with a "Championship" where you race against multiple opponents, at the same time, over one round or more.

Cars from many different manufacturers, are available in the game. This includes Opel, BMW, Mazda, Audi, to Peugeot, Mercedes, and Alfa Romeo among others.

Each city is split up into three areas. London's locations are Westminster, Trafalgar Square, and St. James Park, Tokyo's locations are Asakusa, Shibuya, and Shinjuku, and San Fransisco's locations are, Fishermans Wharf, Financial District, and Pacific Heights.

A fourth city is not available in any way. However, more cities were included in the sequel to the game, which went by the name "Project Gotham Racing" and was released by Microsoft Studios on Xbox.

Kudos is Greek, and is a way to give praise for doing an exceptional performance. One feature in the game was the "Joker" which was a gamble feature. It could be used before the start of a race and, when it was used, it doubled the amount of Kudos you would gain during a race.

Ferrari does not appear in the game at all. Other special vehicles, that can be unlocked in the game are the Red London Bus, Tokyo Basu Bus, and Tokyo Takushe.
