Answer: Lyndsay and Buddy

Lyndsay carries the maps, holds the scrolls, gives you new powers when you complete the scrolls, and transmutes essences you've collected into mana. Buddy doesn't really do much except make silly comments (and a few smart ones, though very rarely). He doesn't even steer the ship from island to island--you do that.

However, he does have a pigeon who brings you messages from King Roland from time to time.

Answer: Sherbet Island

Capital Island is where you start from: you're a lowly pig farmer's assistant before winning the Wandolier tryouts. Renee keeps an animal park on her island, which includes bears, pigs, and crabs. As its name suggests, Cutopia is full of cute things, as well as a duchess who calls you a servant. Sherbet Island is a tropical-themed location in the game "Diddy Kong Racing".

Answer: Rusty

Sheriff Ginny needs your help to find out who the thief is. The clues you find are bandanas, which are scattered all over the island. These bandanas can only belong to Rusty. After he's caught, he admits he did because he's lonely...so Ginny becomes his friend.

Answer: Destroying the rocket Vic is on

Vic goes into space in a rocket you design; Dr. F wants to self-destruct it because he forgot to fill it with potato salad (he's a mad scientist, all right). Alexa convinces him not to, and when Vic lands again, he gives you a map with new islands on it, enabling you to continue your quest.

Answer: DJ Candy throws a concert.

Buddy thinks you get candy here, but Lyndsay tells him otherwise. On this small island, you have to set up the concert DJ Candy plans to give and decorate the area. I had a really hard time connecting all the speakers to the dance stage at first and thought the task was too hard before I realized I could simply move the speakers. Candy's got another pretty big demand--she wants a new house next to the concert venue, fully decorated inside and out!

Answer: By playing a rock concert

Animals have fled the forest, and Petal wants to bring them back. (She's also not happy that Leaf has killed plants to set up a hot tub.) The unicorn statue gives you several cryptic messages, the last of which tells you "rock them in the face", meaning you have to play rock music. By connecting a guitar to a solar panel, you and Leaf play to bring the unicorns back.

Incidentally, Princess Butter wants a unicorn.

Answer: Make her cookie shop Gothic themed.

This was one of my favorite tasks of the game. Ruthie can't understand why her cute-themed cookie shop isn't getting much business. Since everyone on Spookane loves scary-themed decor, you have to repaint and redecorate the inside and outside of the shop. Out with flowers and candy canes, in with gargoyles and spiderwebs!

Answer: Flowers

Whenever you find a rare flower (about one grows per island), you show it to Poppy and she gives you mana, happy icons, and other essences. Barney wants to see all the fish in the kingdom. Sir Spencer wants a complete set of armor, the pieces of which you find by fishing or metal detecting. Vic wants to see all the figurines, which you can find by just about any method.

Answer: Dressing like a dragon and chasing him

After you decorate the three stages (he uses one stage per act rather than having the same stage redressed), Trevor puts on his play. He's the only actor, so he makes you take part in the performance. After casting you as the prince (even if your Sim is a girl) and himself as the princess, he gives you a dragon costume and makes you chase him. I thought it was quite amusing seeing the Sim growl at Trevor before breaking into giggles, then resume the growling.

Answer: Your own island

On this island, you need no mana to build anything! You can also use the various items you mine or otherwise discover, like gemstones, fish, and fruit, in your decorating. You don't have to complete the main quests on all the islands before you get your island.
