This is actually a bit of a trick question. There is a short series of steps to get the egg and the fun thing that goes along with it. When Ingrid is not in her office go to the door and click in the top left hand corner. Your cell phone will ring and you will be asked a question.

The correct answer is Madison. Go to Elliott's office (preferably when you have to make the lathe). After seeing the horses tails (Elliott must be gone), explore to the right of the prize machine at the Midway games with the egg.

Answer: There are three eggs

At the secret beach: Click on the fish in the small pool 29 times. Make a sandcastle. Place your mouse in the upper right hand corner over a rock that looks different. When your mouse turns red, click. Then, go to the DDI Program folder (under My Computer), and then find the picture called "sandcastle.bmp". It's a picture of the sandcastle you built!
In the tunnels: From the cafe end, go to the trapdoor that opens into the hardware store. Open and close the door 10 times to view a cool slideshow.
A glitch in this game is when Katie asks for a sandwich. You don't have to go make it. Just click on her again and one of your options will be "Here's your sandwich."

There are also some glitches to help you if you get stuck: To use your phone in out of service areas such as Dry Creek, hit the web button and then the directory button. You will be able to call out. To make the wood on the puzzle under Zebra Rock to disappear, open and close it six times.
