Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. As you enter the Tower, you'll fittingly come across a number of Orcs, which will progressively be the theme as you go. What Orc is the first Orc you'll come across?

Answer: Shopkeeper

This is somewhat of a trick question: the Orc shopkeeper will not attack you, and will instead buy and sell from you like any other shopkeeper would. The shopkeeper's inventory is very basic, like any other normal shopkeeper.
2. Statistically speaking, what is the difference between the Drudge and the Axe Thrower Orcs?

Answer: The Drudge is slightly bulkier, while the Axe Thrower deals more damage

The difference is marginal and usually will not play a significant factor either way, though it is noticable. If you are a level 70 Guardian Fighter using your Tank loadout, upon having your effective level reduced to 12, the Drudge will survive a single Cleave from you, while the Axe Thrower will not.
3. Talking about bosses. The first boss of this dungeon is, more or less, a glorified version of the Eye of Grumsh. Who is the first boss?

Answer: Makred the Foul

Makred the Foul is the first dungeon boss you will ever face, assuming you go through the dungeons in order like you should. Beyond having more health than the Eye of the Grumsh and being bigger (for an aesthetic difference), there is no difference between Makred and a typical Eye of the Grumsh.

However, once he hits half health, a swarm of Battle Tested Orcs, Drudges and Axe Throwers will join the fight, so be on the lookout for them, as they will come from all different directions. Having said that, this fight should prove to be fairly easy, as Makred is very slow, has poor Recovery, and does not really hit very hard.
4. Deep into the Tower's underground Garden, you will find the second boss. What is their name?

Answer: Throg the Ravenous

Much like Makred, Throg is mostly a glorified version of the Battle Tested Orc. A Guardian Fighter with their shield up could afford to fall asleep as long as they left their finger on the standard attack button, and they will be able to defeat Throg without any problems.

Much like Makred, Throg will bring in his cronies to flank you and take you head on when he hits half health. Unfortunately for Throg, he does not have as many cronies to work with as Makred did, so they should prove to be hardly consequential.
5. The dungeon's final boss, and the leader of the Many Arrows Tribe. What is their name?

Answer: Vansi Bloodscar

Upon initiating conflict with Vansi, she will either chant something in the Orcish language, or she will yell "For the Many Arrows Tribe!" Before charging at you. Unlike Makred or Throg, new players may struggle with Vansi; she has a powerful Flurry of Blows Attack that, like Throg's, will knock the player down if I think isn't hitting a Guardian Fighter or Oathbound Paladin with their shield up, but developing off of Throg's attack, it will also send the target flying in the air as well. Vansi also has a Lunging Strike Attack she will use upon first meeting you, and will use periodically after that. Taking a page out of Makred's book, once Vansi reaches half health, an endless swarm of Drudges and Axe Throwers I'll spawn continuously until she is defeated.
6. There are two additional treasure chests the player may craft if they were able to find the necessary craft components throughout their time in the Tower. One of the chests requires a trio of different Crystals. Which of the following is not a type of one of the three Crystals?

Answer: Azure

The Agate Crystal, the easiest one to find, can be found on one of Makred's Alchemy Research tables in the Alchemy Chamber. The other two require more of a keen eye to locate. The Emerald Crystal can be found as you proceed through the beginning portion of the Tower.

It only requires that, instead of following the objective path, you deviate a little and head towards the opposite end, into the small chamber room with a handful of Orcs in it. The Diamond Crystal is found in the Agate Garden. After killing the room full of Orcs, you can farm it from the nearby pile of diamonds.
7. In terms of end dungeon chests, the second one will require a series of spontaneous items, unlike the first. Which of the following is not one of the items needed to craft this chest?

Answer: Eye of the Grumsh

The Eye of the Grumsh is an Orc and not an item. Glowberries can be found in the Botanical Garden, aside a very large mushroom. The Starflower is found in the Alchemy Chamber, and can be taken after Makred the Foul is killed. Finally, the Gingershroom spawns in two places: in the Botanical Garden, and if you happened to miss it there, Throg the Ravenous will drop one after defeating him.
8. The sixth update in the game's history was impactful on Cloak Tower. What happened to it here?

Answer: The epic version of the dungeon was removed

Much like epic readaptations tend to be, there was no difference between Epic and Normal Cloak Tower, other than Epic was obviously much harder to complete than Normal. It was removed and replaced with Epic Cragmire Crypts and Epic Gray Wolf Den during the Elemental Evil campaign.
9. In order to unlock the Cloak Tower quest from within the Tower District, which Quest must you complete?

Answer: Fists of the Warband

The oddball out here was Orc Thralls, as this quest is only available on the Cold Run map. Firebug and Rod, Stick, and Wand are optional quests, and are not mandatory for the completion of the Tower District campaign. Fists of the Warband precedes the Into the Cloak Tower quest, a quest which enables you to finish the Tower District campaign and claim a reward of a Lesser Armor Kit and experience points.
10. Time to go in depth with a little bit of in-game lore: where does the "Cloak" Tower get its name from?

Answer: A tavern tale depicting of a famous horror story about a series of Magical Cloaks

During the Spellplague, the Cloak Tower inexplicably vanished from the District. Several months after the Spellplague ended, the Tower magically returned to its grounds. Not long after the Tower returned, and before the Many Arrows Tribe took residence in it, thieves attempted to loot the Tower.

It gets its name because, with the exception of one thief, the band of thieves is said to have come across a series of magical Cloaks which used to belong to the Many Starred Mages who originally lived in the Tower. Upon trying to steal them, it is said that the Cloaks enveloped and "swallowed" the thieves on the spot, with the exception of one thief who lived to tell the tale.
