This is a quiz I made for the greatest game of all time, 'The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time'. This is only part one of the quiz so stay tuned for part 2. This is for the Nintendo 64. May contain spoilers for those who have not completed it.

1. You start out in Kokiri Forest where the Kokiri live. The first dungeon is within the Great Deku Tree. The Deku Tree also gives you the Spiritual Stone, right?

Answer: Yes

The Deku Tree gives you the stone after defeating Gohma. Gohma is the first boss of the game and one of the easiest bosses to defeat. Gohma also makes a return in 'Twilight Princess' as Armorgohma.

Answer: Hyrule Castle

Before we can to Death Mountain, which is where the Spiritual Stone is retrieved, we need a letter of approval from Princess Zelda. Hyrule Castle is where we can find her.

3. As we get to Death Mountain we find some strange species living there. They are large and brown and are friendly towards Link. What are these called?

Answer: Gorons

They are Gorons; Zoras are creatures that live in the water. Zoras can also be found in 'Twilight Princess'. Gerudos are hostile towards you at first and can be found in the Gerudo Valley, Chuchus cannot be found in 'Ocarina of Time'. Gorons also appear in other 'Legend of Zelda' games as well.

4. You've just defeated King Dodongo and left Dodongo's Cavern to be greeted by a Goron who gives you the second Spiritual Stone. What is the name of this Goron?

Answer: Darunia

Darunia is the leader of the Gorons and the one who gives you the spiritual stone. Unless you called your character 'Link' there is no Goron called Link. After you have become an adult you will find a Goron named after yourself and Gongoron is a character from "Phantom Hourglass".

5. On to the final Spiritual Stone. We have learned that the final stone is with the Zoras, but where do the Zoras live?

Answer: Zora's Domain

Zora's Domain is where most Zoras can be found; a few can be found at Lake Hylia. Lord Jabu Jabu can be found at Zora's Domain which is where the next dungeon takes place.

6. Lord Jabu Jabu is the next dungeon, and while inside you find Princess Ruto (the daughter of King Zora). Inside the dungeon you find the spiritual stone, right?

Answer: Yes

Yes, whilst inside Lord Jabu Jabu you do FIND the spiritual stone, but you don't receive it until you have defeated the boss Barinade. This may have tricked some people as they know that Princess Ruto GIVES you the stone.

Answer: Zelda, Impa, and Ganondorf

Zelda and Impa run past you on a horse. Zelda then throws something into the water beside you and carries on running. As you turn around, the infamous Ganondorf is standing there.

8. You pick up the object that Zelda threw and you find out it is an Ocarina. What is different about this Ocarina compared to the one that Saria gave you?

The first thing you notice is that it is blue. If you look closely, the Triforce logo can be seen on it. It has a secret power which is needed to open the Temple of Time. Also, after obtaining the Ocarina, you are taught the 'Song of Time'.

Seven years is how long Link has been inside the Temple of Time and it is told to him by Rauru, the Sage of Light. Link is now a grown adult and some of his childhood items are now unusable to him, but you do get some items as an adult that are unusable as a child.

10. We are told a few places where we can find medallions. This is told to us by Sheik, but who exactly is Sheik?

Answer: Zelda

We learn that Sheik is actually Zelda in disguise, Sheik helps you many times throughout the game. She does this by teaching you many songs so you can easily warp to each Temple. Ganondorf is the evil overlord and would never help you. Saria herself is a Sage.

11. The very first temple you are told to go to is the Forest Temple. Where is this temple located?

Answer: The Sacred Forest Meadow

The Forest Temple is found inside the Sacred Forest Meadow which is whithin the Lost Woods, the Lost Woods are found in the Kokiri Forest. Death Mountain and the Graveyard have nothing to do with the Forest Temple.

12. The Forest Temple boss is very similar to the final boss of the game. Why is this?

Answer: It is a phantom of Ganondorf

The Forest Temple boss is a phantom of Ganondorf. It is not fought in the same location as Ganondorf is fought at Hyrule Castle. Ganondorf wouldn't make his phantom as strong as himself as it could pose as a threat, but the way you have to defeat Phantom Ganon is quite similar to fighting the real Ganondorf.

Answer: Sheik was in the way of the pedestal

Sheik was stood in the way of the pedestal so Link could not put the Master Sword back. It is not mentioned why she goes after obtaining the first Medallion but she does. This takes him back seven years before he took the sword.

14. Now we have to go to the second temple, but first we need an item of clothing to withstand the heat of the volcano. What is this item called?

Answer: Goron Tunic

The Goron Tunic can be bought from the Goron shop or freely obtained from a rolling goron by hitting him with a bomb. This stops you from getting too hot in the Fire Temple. The Goron is also known as a Fire Tunic and can slow down the damage of fire and lava.

15. Before we actually get to the Fire Temple, we have to pass through Goron City. What is different about this place now compared to when you was a child?

Answer: There are fewer Gorons

There are a lot less Gorons now because the evil boss of the Fire Temple has taken many prisoner. There are still some Gorons around though, including the shop owner.
