Answer: Adelpha

 They send a probe to the parallel universe of Adelpha. But once the probe is there an intelligent life form damages the probe. On Earth, an unforeseen backlash of energy is created by this action and the result is a black hole, which threatens the very existence of our planet. Now you and your team will have to be deployed to the planet to save earth.
Atlantis is a myth on earth, Europe is a continent and Omicron Persei Eight is a planet from the tv series "Futurama".

Sannegtas are fish. Theylook like a mix of dolphins and sharks.

Okriana is the only great city of Adelpha. It is the only thing in Talanzaar, besides sand.

Answer: 2007

 During the study of superstrings in an university in the United States they discover the existents of parallel universes. These studies begin in the late eighties, and in the year 2007 the technology is ready for the first tests. As we on earth always do, they sent out a probe first.

Answer: 1050

 This is according to the makers of the game. I haven't counted them myself. They made this many NPC because they wanted each character to be recognizable as an individual. This increases the quality of their story.

Answer: Belgium

 The game was developed by the Appeal studios in Belgium. This studio was founded by Franck Sauer, Yann Robert and Yves Grole. They had worked on several games before they started there own studio. "Agony" and "Unreal" are the biggest names these men have been credited for.
