During the first cinema sequence of the game, the camera zooms in on Carnegie Hall, which shows a banner giving a holiday greeting. The year is stated on the banner.

2. Which of the following is not a character in the game?

Answer: Takiyoshi Maeda

Douglas Baker is the chief of Aya's precinct. Ben Dollis is the son of Aya's partner, Daniel. Melissa Pierce is the opera singer who is transformed into Mitochondria Eve. There is no Takiyoshi Maeda... there is, however, a Kunihiko Maeda, a Japanese researcher who helps Aya out.

3. Which two "Parasite Eve" characters are later referred to in another Squaresoft game, "Final Fantasy 9"?

Answer: Wayne and Torres

Daniel and Ben are Aya's partner and his son, and don't appear in any other Squaresoft games as far as I know. Biggs and Wedge are in many of the "Final Fantasy" titles, as well as "Chrono Trigger", but aren't anywhere in "Parasite Eve". Warner and Nix are two detectives in Aya's precinct. Only Wayne and Torres appear in both titles: In "Parasite Eve", they are the two officers who are responsible for the Weapons Department, and in "Final Fantasy 9", they run a weapon forging shop in Lindblum.

Monkeys and bushes both appear in the Central Park Zoo, and cats appear in Chinatown. The only horse in "Parasite Eve" is a normal one, which Eve sadistically torches as she does so many humans. Horses do become a fairly common monster in "Parasite Eve 2", however.

Answer: Day 4: Conception

Day 4 is the day in which Eve recieves the sperm she needs to concieve the Ultimate Being, thus "Conception." Evolution is the sixth day, and the other two are made up.

6. Which of the following was transplanted into Aya from her twin sister Maya?

Answer: Cornea

Aya's sister Maya was actually the one who was supposed to have become Eve, but she died in a car accident. Her kidney was transplanted into Melissa Pierce, while her cornea went to Aya.

7. Which of the following is not an ability that can be on one of Aya's weapons?

Answer: PE Light

Shot x 5 allows you to fire five shots in one command, of course. Double Command lets you take two actions in one turn. Burst Attack gives your attack the ability to hit the enemies surrounding your target. PE Light reduces the PE used when activating Parasite Powers, but is only available on armor.

8. How many different Clubs are in the game?

Answer: Five

You start the game with Club 1. Club 2 is found in Soho, Club 3 is found in Chinatown, and Club 4 and Club 5 are both in the Chrystler Building.

Answer: He'll let you name your weapon and armor.

Wayne never offers a healing service. He will give you a powerful weapon if you give him 300 Junks, but only in the Police Station Weapons Department. He simply allows you to name your currently equipped weapon and armor.
