1. First question! True or False? The Emerald Pact Ring is the ring you use to make a pact with Shadow.

Answer: False

The Emerald Pact Ring is used to make a pact with Chameleon. The Amethyst Pact Ring is the ring you need to make a pact with Shadow.

2. What do you get for climbing to the top of the Tower of the Zodiac in the future?

Answer: A new skill for Suzu

If you redo the Tower of the Zodiac after you arrive in the future, you receive the "Merciless Thunder" skill for Suzu at the top. Suzu really needs at least some of her optional attacks to be useful.

3. What is the name of Arche's elven mother?

Answer: Luti

Her mother, Luti, saves Arche when she is caught in the village of the elves. You can also talk to her late in the game to receive some good equipment for Arche.

4. For which of the following Summon Spirits do you make the pact with in Morlia Mineshaft?

Answer: Chameleon

There are quite a few Summon Spirits in Morlia, Chameleon being one. Aska is in the Abyss of Thor, if you come back in the future. Shadow is in the cave by Arlee, and Luna is in the Tower of the Zodiac.

5. Which of the following of Arche's spells can you buy in Alvanista Castle's magic room?

Answer: Thunder Blade

You can buy a couple attacks from one of the magic users in Alvanista Castle's basement. Thunder Blade, the more expensive one, is very helpful at that point in the game.

6. True or False? Mint can get a title in the future, at the small island where you made a pact with Undine.

Answer: True

The first time in the future you go to the island where you made a pact with Undine, Arche will get the title Terrible Cook. If you come back a second time, you can get the title Perfect Lady for Mint.

7. Which character was not playable in the original SNES version of this game?

Answer: Suzu

Suzu Fujibayashi was not a playable character in the original (SNES) version of "Tales of Phantasia". Now she is an optional character - you can beat the game without her, and must complete a side-quest to get Suzu on your party. She doesn't join automatically in the story! She's not bad in battle, if she has some of her optional skills.

8. Which character does this title belong to - "Delicate Flower"

Answer: Arche

Arche gets this title if you talk to her when she's passed out on the boat, just before you begin the battle with Meia. This takes place relatively early in the game.

9. Almost done. True or False? Cress has a move the restores HP.

Answer: True

The skill "Inspiration" is a healing move that Cress acquires at level 34. It only restores his own HP, however.

10. Last question! After the city of Hamel's destruction, you meet a pink-haired girl among the ruins. She joins your party as an NPC until after you defeat Demitel. What was her name?

Answer: Rhea

Rhea is an old friend of Arche's. After Rhea and her parents were killed, Arche lent her body to Rhea so she could get revenge on her family's killer. After Demitel is defeated, Rhea can join her parents in peace, and Arche reclaims her body. Arche then joins you as a playable character.
