While you are lying unconscious a few feet away on the same beach, your future partner is watching a beautiful sunset. He admires the bubbles floating around the screen that are coming from the Krabby on the beach. Soon he will walk over and notice you, signaling the start of the game.

Answer: An ancient relic fragment

After your partner and yourself get acquainted, some shady Pokemon (Koffing and Zubat) steal your partner's most prized possession: the Relic Fragment. Soon after you catch the thieves, they hand it back over and you take it back with you. Later the Relic Fragment holds a key part in the storyline.

Your first job comes from Spoink. You must find it's pearl deep in Drenched Bluff. You save Azurill next, and Manaphy is Post Ending.

Answer: A Perfect Apple

Wigglytuff seems to be out of his favorite food: Perfect Apples. So now you must go deep in Apple Woods to recover one. You get tricked out of the apple by Skuntank, Koffing, and Zubat.

Answer: Groudon

You travel through the Foggy Forest on your expedition and come across a hidden lake. Before you can get through, you must battle Groudon, but it is really Uxie's illusion.

Answer: Water Float

After all of this searching, Azurill finally learns where his Water Float is: In Amp Plains. Apparently someone hid the Water Float in the most dangerous of places. The Water Float is in a clearing where Luxray and a bunch of Luxio are roaming. You must defeat them to get the Water Float.

Answer: Time Gears

Apparently a thief named Grovyle has been stealing the Time Gears. This results in time stopping in several places.

Answer: Dusknoir

The All-Great Dusknoir is really a traitor and needs to get rid of you and your partner. So he opens up a portal and pushes you into the future to destroy you. Celebi and Grovyle (Yes, the good guys) help send you back to the past. It turns out Grovyle was helping prevent the world's paralysis by taking the Time Gears.

After you retrieve the Time Gears its off to the Hidden Land to board the Rainbow Stoneship.

Answer: Dusknoir

Yes, it turns out that you are really a Pokemon from the future and that Grovyle is your partner. And apparently you were human and then on a mission to the past, you were both separated and you changed into a Pokemon. Your ability to see things in the past and future is a gift that helped Grovyle and yourself in many missions. Grovyle thought you were dead, and you lost your memory. And after you defeat Dusknoir, you learn that if you stop the planet's paralysis and change the past, you will never exist and will disappear...

Answer: Having you back

Once you disappear, your partner will understand that you must depart. he will cry and beg for you to come back, but as he floats back to the Hidden Land on the Rainbow Stoneship, he wishes you goodbye. Several months pass and yet your partner still mourns. And this brings you back to the lovely scene in which your adventure started; your partner watching the sunset. Now he remembers how he used to do this all the time and he never got to do it since you two met.

Then as he remembers you, he breaks down sobbing in the sand until Bidoof comes along, asking if he's okay.

Then Dialga says, "If you are still mourning this much now as you were that day, you deserve this to be your reward." And then you appear next to your partner. What a happy ending!
