1. Cloud was a previous member of SOLDIER. What other character had a connection with the Shin-Ra Corporation?

Answer: Vincent

Vincent was previously a Turk but left after some issues he had with some Shin-Ra professors. If you visit Lucrecia's Cave on Disc 2 you can learn a bit more about this.

2. When you fight Godo in Wutai what Enemy Skill attack can he use?

Answer: Trine

Trine can be learnt from the Materia Keeper boss a Stilva enemy and of course Godo. You learn L4 Suicide from a Mu or Trickplay, Magic Breath from a Stilva or Parasite enemy and Beast Sword is an attack Godo can use and this is not an Enemy Skill.

3. Barret Wallaces' birthday is on what date?

Answer: December 15th

You do not find this out during the course of the game. You can also find it if you check his character profile.

4. You can get three Master Materia from the man in Kalm if you present him with the Earth Harp. There is another way to get Master Materia, but how is this done?

Answer: Master all materia of a group and visit relevant colour Huge Materia in Cosmo Canyon

You lose all your Mastered Materia of the specific group if you get your Mastered Materia this way, so be warned if you do this. Defeating Ruby Weapon will gain you a Gold Chocobo and the other two answers are made-up rubbish!

5. If you talk to the Green Chocobo in the Chocobo Sages House, what Materia do you receive?

Answer: Enemy Skill

You receive Contain from the White Chocobo in Mideel. You pick up the Mega All Materia in the Crater and you get the Choc-Mog Materia from the Chocobo Ranch.

6. How old is Red XIII in human years?

Answer: 16

You don't find out this out until you get to Cosmo Canyon and his grandfather explains he is still a child. His 48 years old is equivalent to 15 or 16 in human reckoning.

7. Which of these Materia only has one level?

Answer: Underwater

Underwater Materia is the only Materia in the game that you can get with only one level. EXP plus has 3 levels, HP Absorb has 5 and Magic Counter also has 5.

8. You can pick HP Absorb Materia in two places in the game. One is in Wutai, but where is the other one located?

Answer: The Crater

The second can be found in the second part of The Crater. It is difficult to see though as it is hidden partially behind an invisible wall.

9. In the Shin-Ra HQ, on your second visit to Midgar, you can obtain a weapon for Red XIII on the long staircase. What is this weapon called?

Answer: Behemoth Horn

The Spring Gun Clip can be collected in the Ancient Forest and the Plus Barette can be collected in Mt Nibel. The Depleting Comb is completely made up.

10. There is a person in the game who will give you GP in exchange for Gil. Where is he located?

Answer: Gold Saucer

A man standing in the background (behind the Save Point) after you ride the Ropeway to the Gold Saucer (he randomly appears there) will exchange 1 GP for 100 Gil and you can buy a maximum of 100 GP from him every time he is there. However he does not appear very often.
