1. What does Purple Nanotech do?

Answer: Heals multiple health

Purple Nanotech will usually heal about four health. It becomes more common later in the game but is first discovered here.

2. What does Ratchet find on this planet?

Answer: A new wrench

Ratchet's new wrench does extra damage than the last one. It is found in the cave at the start of the level.

3. What is the identity of the Unknown Thief?

Answer: A female Fozbite

The thief falls of her ship and her mask comes off. Although she may look like a Lombax, it is revealed in another game that she is, in fact, a Fozbite.

4. What price does the prophet demand in return for Ratchet's ship to be fixed?

Answer: 10 desert crystals

The desert crystals can be found by either killing Desert Dune Monsters, or smashing rock clusters. Although there are more than 10 crystals, you don't need them all.

5. Where is the Glider?

Answer: Inside a cave near the launch pad

After getting through multiple tunnels, Ratchet and Clank will come to an opening. The Glider is at the end of the tunnel and can be immediately used.

6. How many Platinum Bolts are there on this level?

Answer: 3

The first Bolt is out in the desert. The second bolt is in one of the tunnels on the way to get the Glider. It can be reached by freezing the waterwhile Ratchet is standing on the far platform. The third and final bolt is at the end of the Glider course.

7. Where is the Nanotech Boost?

Answer: Along the Glider course

To be specific, it's at the top of one of the towers. It can be reached by using the Glider, or if you're feeling suicidal you can get it with the Heli-pack.

8. How many desert crystals are there?

Answer: 101

The first 10 need to be traded for ship repairs. All the others can be traded for 1,000 bolts each.

9. Where is the mining vehicle?

Answer: On a high platform

The mining vehicle can be used to mine for Raritanium. Raritanium is used to buy ship upgrades.

10. How much dos the Bouncer cost?

Answer: 100,000 bolts

The Bouncer fires small bombs that explode into smaller ones which bounce around. The Bouncer upgrades into the Heavy Bouncer which has larger bombs.
