Answer: Leon S. Kennedy

Leon entered Raccoon City without knowing of the viral outbreak which occured over night. Leon was also a rookie cop starting his first day as a police officer of the Raccoon Police Department.

Answer: Ada Wong

Ada was an undercover agent working with Wesker. She was also on the search to find her boyfriend, John. She finds out that John had been killed by the virus.

Leon/Claire find shelter in a gun shop run by a man named Robert Kendo. Apparently, Kendo was good friends with Barry Burton (from "Resident Evil 1") and they designed guns.

HUNK was one of the survivors of the outbreak and of his whole team who were ordered to retrieve the virus sample. He managed to survive in the sewers for days and still escape the city. The player gets to take control of him in a special minigame.
