Leon Kennedy is starting work as an officer for the Raccoon City Police Department, also known as the RPD. He is wearing his police uniform during the game.

2. Why did Claire go to Raccoon City in the first place?

Answer: She was looking for her brother

Claire Redfield is Chris Redfield's younger sister who tries to find her brother during the plot of the second game. Claire also appears as a main character in "Code Veronica X".

3. What is the name of the young girl who you find and save while playing as Claire?

Answer: Sherry Birkin

Sherry Birkin is the daughter of William Birkin who created the G-Virus. You find her being chased by a zombie as you enter the S.T.A.R.S head office.

4. What is the name of the new strand of virus featured in this game?

Answer: G-Virus

The G-Virus was created by William Birkin. The Umbrella Corporation tried to steal Williams work and as a result he got infected with the new virus turning him into a monster.

5. What happens to the gun shop owner from the beginning of the game?

You find the man while trying to reach the police station. If you go back to his dead body you get a new gun.

6. What happens to Mr X when he falls into the fire with the G-Virus sample?

Answer: He mutates

When he falls into the vat of fire with the sample you think he dies until he comes back mutated and stronger. Claire then has to fight him right at the end of the game.

After shooting Leon, Annette flees and Ada follows her. There is an impressive clip that follows that shows William Birkin fighting some Umbrella Troops.

The Licker was first introduced in the Police Station. It is totally blind and relays on hunting using its terrific hearing.

9. What does Chief Irons tell Claire was one of his favorite past-times?

He tells her this when Claire first finds him in his office with the body of the Mayor's daughter. After this meeting he disappears from his office.

10. Where does Claire come across her first zombie?

Answer: Diner

Claire first encounters this zombie when she enters the diner looking for help. She runs from it and finds Leon in the back alleyway.
