1. When you start the game, what type of bowling ball do you have?

Answer: The house ball

The house ball does not cost you anything to obtain. All other bowling balls must be purchased during the game.

2. What it it called in the game when your ball rolls off the current frame and hits pins in another frame?

Answer: A Wild Shot

If you get all the pins in the other frame, it's called a Wild Strike. If you do not finish the frame on a Wild Shot, you will still have to clear the frame later on.

3. During the game, you may hit little blue stars scattered around the course. What does this do?

Answer: Adds money to your total at the end of a game

On each frame, there are also some purple pins with yellow stars, which have the same effect. You will need money if you wish to play Challenge or Tournament games, or to purchase the higher quality bowling balls. Tournament fees in the more difficult courses may run into the hundreds or thousands of dollars.

4. Which of these is the most expensive bowling ball in the game?

Answer: The Eight Ball

The Eight Ball costs $10,000 and is the last ball on the list of items to purchase in the game. The Volcano Ball is a name I made up. The Salsa Ball is green and the Orange Ball looks like an actual orange fruit, complete with a rind-like surface and a green stem.

5. What is the first course available in the 'Free Play' section of the game?

Answer: Quickstrike Alley

Quickstrike has obstacles such as tilted floors and gulleys which may take your shot off course. Later courses include water traps and steep hills. "Rocket Bowl" borrows some of its design aspects from the game of golf.

6. What is the highest number of Rocket Boosts you will be allowed to store for a bowling ball?

Answer: 15

This can be done only with the Eight Ball. The lower-level bowling balls allow for fewer boosters. The rocket jets send the ball flying with great speed and power. If done properly, rockets can help you finish a split or increase your chances of a strike. Timing must be precise, however-- a poorly aimed rocket blast may launch you onto the wrong side of the course.

7. What is the lowest amount you can select for a bet against a course professional, in the Challenge section of the game?

Answer: $5

In Challenge games, if you are in one-player mode, the opponent will be taken up by the CPU. You can play a Challenge match on any of the ten courses. However, scores earned in Challenges do not count toward Achievements which can be acquired in Xbox Live online play.

8. On what course in the Challenge round will you face Ned Day as your opponent?

Answer: Jet Set Landing

On Jet Set Landing, the most you can bet at a time is $20. The other amounts you can bet against Ned are $5 and $10. You can make only one bet per match.

9. What score do you get for a perfect game (all shots are strikes)?

Answer: 300

This is the same amount as in a real-life game of tenpins bowling. Unlike real bowling, however, in "Rocket Bowl" you get three shots in all frames, not just the very last.
