Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is not a "Loopy Landscapes" scenario?

Answer: Urban Park

Urban Park is a "Corkscrew Follies" scenario that requires one thousand guests over three years. The other three scenarios are unlocked as you play and complete earlier scenarios in "Loopy Landscapes". Woodworm Park requires one thousand six hundred guests over three years, Icarus Park requires a monthly ride income of $10,000+, and Pacifica requires a monthly ride income of $8,000+ to be completed.
2. Which is not a "Loopy Landscapes" entertainer costume?

Answer: Cowboy Costume

Despite the fact that you can get a Wild West theme for your park, there are no cowboy entertainer costumes. Before the "Loopy Landscapes" expansion, only three costumes were available (Tiger, Panda, and Elephant). With this expansion, you can also get the Knight and Snowman costumes. Entertainers cost $40.00 per month.
3. The Alton Towers scenario was introduced in this expansion.

Answer: True

This new expansion brought three non-expansion scenarios into the game. Alton Towers and Heide-Park required 2,500 guests over three years, while Blackpool Pleasure Beach required a minimum of 3,500 over three years. The parks already start out with guests, but you'll need to do a lot of work to maintain and help the population grow.
4. Which of these is a not a new shop in the "Loopy Landscapes" expansion?

Answer: Exotic Seafood Stall

Other new shops/stalls include the Donut Shop, and the T-Shirt Stall while the Exotic Seafood Stall is a "Corkscrew Follies" expansion. The Fried Chicken is a cheap food shop (shaped like the head of a chicken) that's cheaper to build than the Burger Bar.

The Coffee Shop and the Lemonade Stall both have default selling prices of $1.20, but the Lemonade Stall can be bought for $40 less than the Coffee Shop (which is sold at $250).
5. There are no scenarios in the "Loopy Landscape" expansion where you can set your park admission fee.

Answer: True

As an additional challenge, Chris Sawyer (the creator) decided to veto the park admission fee idea in order to enforce original popular rides. This will probably force players to jack up the prices of their rides in order to compensate since admission fees supply with a great amount of money.
6. This expansion pack gives you the opportunity to change the entrance to your ride. What is not a new ride entrance for this expansion pack?

Answer: Canvas Tent Style

With this new option, you can make your station entrance match the environment, landscape, or theme of your park. The styles of the entrances range from the glassy abstract style entrance (which can change colours), to the metallic space style for your Martian or Space themed park. None of this needs to be paid for.
7. Which is a new coaster for this expansion?

Answer: Air-Powered

Other new coasters for this expansion included the Steel Twister, Suspended Looping, and Inverted Wild Mouse. All of these coasters were somewhat different from the previous ones because they were much more intense (and somewhat more expensive) than the others. Despite this, some coasters, like the Gigacoaster, are insanely intense and nausea-inducing.
8. Since this game helps you with landscape changes, it's evident that the developers added a few more ground types. What is not a style of ground that is new in this add-on?

Answer: Wonderland/Checkerboard Theme

These new types of ground can be used by clicking on the Raise/Lower Land tool and switching to the type you want. This can be great if you want to have a certain style or theme in parts of your park. As an added tip, you can also use the tool to cut grass. Rather than have a Handyman cut the grass, use the tool and click the ground you want cut.

It will instantly level out, free of charge.
9. Jet Skis was a new Boat Hire-type ride in this expansion. How many guests can fit on one Jet Ski?

Answer: One

Jet Skis cost upwards of $205, and much like Boat Hire, they can be placed in a track, or your guests can freely drive them around a lake or pond. Other neat Boat Hire-like rides are Bumper Boats, Swan Boats, or Water Tricycles. All of these can only be built in water.
10. A major add-on of the game has been the ability to choose new music to fit the theme of your park. What is an example of a new type of ride music?

Answer: Urban Style

Sure, the original "Rollercoaster Tycoon" (without expansions) may have had ride music, but with the final expansion, you can choose from up to fourteen new themes/styles of music. These include Medieval Style, Snow Style, Ice Style, Jurassic Style, and even Jungle Drums Style. The ride music won't cost you a dime.
