Answer: Carmelita's Ape Mercenaries

After the Mask of Dark Earth attached itself to Carmelita (causing her to grow hundreds of feet tall), Sly climbed up her boot laces and up to the Mask's latches to get it off of her. After it was detached, her ape mercenaries opened fire on it with their guns. It exploded and the apes died in the explosion.

Sly was shocked by Bentley's proposal because, when Sly was young, Panda King (who was then a part of the Fiendish Five), helped kill Sly's dad and steal the Thievius Raccoonus. Sly doesn't fully trust him until after several jobs in the level "A Cold Alliance".

During a confrontation between the two, Sly talked about how he and his gang are equals. Dr. M (being a former member of Sly's father's gang) told him that his father "was never such a good friend". This shows that Dr. M had always had a secret hatred for Sly's father. He hated Sly due to the fact that he was his father's son.

After the final battle between Sly and Dr. M, the inner sanctum of the Cooper Vault begins to collapse. After Carmlita leaves with Sly, Bentley explains in the following cutscene that Dr. M stood in the inner sanctum and refused to leave because he had spent so long lusting over the fortune of the Cooper Clan. He was killed by falling rocks.

After suffering a massive head injury (courtesy of Dr. M), Carmelita comes to his rescue. He then explains that he doesn't know who she is or who he is. She (always having had secret feeling for him), tells him that he is her partner, Constable Cooper. They then leave the Cooper Vault before it caves in.

Both LeFwee and Dr. M are killed: Dr. M is killed by falling rocks, and LeFwee is killed when he is devoured by sharks. The Mask of Dark Earth is not counted due to the fact that it is not a living thing; it is just a mask.

Sly said this to Dr. M shortly before their final battle in the Inner Sanctum of the Cooper Vault. He was explaining that he was his own person, and not like any specific ancestor of his. Dr. M shows disgust by telling him to keep his "touchy-feely rhetoric" to himself.

Dimitri joins the gang after Sly, Bentley, Murray, Penelope, Panda King, and Guru help him recover his grandfather's buried treasure. His diving skills are essential because of the defenses Dr. M has set up in the water surrounding the island.

While on a mission with Penelope in the level "Dead Men Tell No Tales", Penelope makes a NASA reference ("Let's light this candle") over her communicator to Bentley, which makes him like her more. It is obvious that Penelope has a crush on Sly, and Bentley says that it isn't fair that Sly gets all of the girls.

Answer: Black Baron

She used this false identity to get past the dogfighting championship's age requirements. However, the Black Baron became famous after winning, and she used this fake identity more frequently. It was discarded after the Cooper Gang discovered this and she joined them for the Cooper Vault job.
