She, along with a blue-headed male Toad with white spots, traveled with Princess Peach to the past. When they arrived, Princess Shroob and her army captured them as soon as they arrived. She then tells the four about the Vim Factory, and that there is a Cobalt Star shard inside the factory. After she finishes talking, some UFOs come and shoot her, transforming her into a mushroom.

The Elasto-Piranhas are mostly only encountered by the babies, although can be battled a few times with the adults. If attacked by the side, as if with a hammer or a Green Shell, each attack will only deal one hit point worth of damage, but attacking it on the top, like with a jump attack, will negate the Elasto-Piranha's defense.

In the first section of the Toadwood Forest, there is a group of trees blocking the entrance to the room with the pipe leading to the second section. In a different room, you must throw the babies underground into a stump, where there are enemies and six clear blocks each containing a small flame.

When a flame is hit, the adults must hit the block it landed in above ground to launch it into the big center block. Once all six small flames are in the big center block, it will burn down the trees blocking the room with the pipe when hit.

Toadiko tells the foursome about Vim Factory, and tells them that the Toads in the trees are being deprived of their energy. Growing weaker and weaker, the constantly lose their mushroom power and their vim, and it is sent to the Vim Factory through an underground system of roots, thus calling it the Vim Factory, as it runs off of vim.

The L33t Hamm3r Broz, or so they call themselves, say that they are working for the Shroobs and that they should, "PREPARE 4 TOTAL PWNAGE." A nose-like machine comes from the ceiling and sucks the adults into it while the babies prepare to fight the Hammer Bros.

After defeating both of them, they come to their senses, as they were being controlled by the Shroobs with their antennas, and give the babies hammers. Using the hammers, they must navigate through the factory to where the adults are being help.

They must break six glass orbs with electricity to free the adults in the room that they are being held captive.

Answer: Four

Beans must be retrieved by drilling into the ground, which can only be done after getting the hammers. Two beans are in the room in the first section with the pipe leading to the second section, and the other two are in the room on the other side of that pipe in the second section. There are nine beans in Vim Factory.

Answer: Spiny Shroopa

Spiny Shroopas will only leap towards you, which you must counterattack with your hammer. Sometimes they will leap at you again if you block their attack, but they have no attack that requires you to jump. If only the older Mario Bros. are present, they will curl up into a ball and roll at them. Dr. Shroobs will normally fire a ray gun at you which you must jump over, but after they attack, will pull out either a red mushroom or a white mushroom.

The next turn it will eat the mushroom and charge at you.

It will be big and do a lot of damage with the red mushroom, and with the white mushroom, small and doing minimal damage. Both of them must be counterattacked with the hammer. If you attack it while it has the mushroom, it will drop it. Lakitofu are Lakitus on flying saucers.

They will either drop a curled up Spiny Shroopa which rolls at you and you must hammer, or will jump of its saucer towards you, which you must jump over. Swiggler's shockwaves and UFO attacks must be jumped over, and its poison clouds must be hammered.

Answer: Baby Mario hit his drink with his hammer and the drink fell over on Baby Luigi

When Mario and Luigi are inspecting Swiggler, they suddenly notice Baby Mario holding his hammer above the drink. Dropping the hammer, the drink spills on Baby Luigi. Swiggler gets angry and initiates the battle. In the battle, there are two Dr. Shroobs. Swiggler has high health and high defense, so what the four must do is attack a Dr. Shroob while holding a white mushroom, causing it to drop it into the drink.

When Swiggler drinks it, he will turn blue for a turn, not attacking, and will have its defenses lowered. If it drinks a drink with a red mushroom, it will heal some health.

Answer: Baby Bowser steals them and escapes with Kamek

After the battle, Baby Bowser appears and begins running in circles around the four. After they get dizzy watching him, they spin around and drop the Cobalt Star shards by mistake. Baby Bowser escapes with them with Kamek. After returning to the present, Professor E. Gadd says that the time hole leading to Yoshi's Island is giving off massive readings of Cobalt Star energy, meaning that Baby Bowser most likely escaped through there.
