Toad (Mario's sidekick) and Koopa (Bowser's minion) were reasonably zippy but appeared faster than they were because they possessed superior handling. Donkey Kong Jr. (who would be replaced by his son Donkey Kong in later versions) and Bowser (who was the main antagonist) were the heaviest of the group. Whilst their acceleration was the lowest they did own the highest top speeds of all the contenders. Most of the "Super Mario Kart" world record times were recorded using either one of these two.

Answer: Goku

Goku is based on the Monkey King from the 16th century Chinese novel "Journey to the West", attributed to Wu Cheng'en. He (Goku) is skilled in martial arts and has superhuman strength. He travels the world in search of the magical "Dragon Ball" that can, purportedly, grant wishes.

The "Dragon Ball" video games include role-playing games, platform games and fighting games. Among the abilities possessed by Goku are superhuman speed and superhuman senses, which allow him to travel great distances within a short time and to respond to situations at incredible speed.

Answer: Shadow

Shadow is a black and red hedgehog that can match Sonic's speed through the use of hover shoes. He also has "Chaos Emeralds" to manipulate time and space with a technique called "Chaos Control". He first appeared in 2001 as a villain but he morphed into an antihero when a really tragic backstory was revealed.

Answer: Flash

Bartholomew "Barry" Allen earned his seat on the Justice League after a normal life went badly wrong when his father was wrongly convicted of the death of his mother and was thrown into jail. Trying to find the real killer, Barry was struck by a lightning bolt giving him super speed. With this power, he became the Flash and was able to protect Central City 24/7. The latter skill was due to him being able to run faster than the speed of light.

Answer: Captain Falcon

Captain Falcon is a futuristic racer whose description embodies the qualities of a speed demon. His backstory is a little mysterious but he is known to be a bounty hunter and the best racer on the "F-Zero" circuit. He proves to be the nemesis of the evil Black Shadow. In addition to the first "F-Zero" game Captain Falcon also starred in "F-Zero X" for the Nintendo 64 in 1998 and "F-Zero GX" for the Nintendo Gamecube in 2003.

In addition to Bo Jackson other offensive standouts in "Tecmo Super Bowl" include Jerry Rice and Christian Okoye, while top defensive stars in the game include Lawrence Taylor, Bruce Smith, and Derrick Thomas. Bo Jackson's baseball and football careers were cut short by a hip injury but in his short career in both sports he was an All-Star. "Tecmo Super Bowl" was a commercial success and more than 25 years after its release annual tournaments were held.

Answer: Captain Comic

In the 1990 MS-DOS platform game "Captain Comic 2: Fractured Reality", the Captain is returning from recovering the Crown Jewels on Tambi (in the first episode) when he hears a distress signal. He teleports down to Omsoc and becomes embroiled in a quest to find the key to a temple and six crystals, one found in each of six realities. While he's away on the quest, the people he's trying to help make off with his spaceship. Thankfully, the crystals he's gathered have helped restore a scientific base where he discovers a time machine that will take him home.

The jetpack, though a fuel-guzzler, is essential to completing the game. Captain Comic simply couldn't jump high or fast enough without it. He needs it to avoid tornadoes and lightning, escape when he's pinched a lantern and clock from a family sheltering from the storm, dodge UFOs and to eventually get back to the teleport door from which he can return to the planet he's attempting to save.

The Skrejgib (big jerks, backwards) are the aliens who want Captain Comic to retrieve the crystals for them, then leave him stranded. Blastola Cola is a power source used in the game. Mayor Wigby appears in the 'Jet Pack Pets' franchise.

This was considered a great honor for Sanders who beat out another great running back, Minnesota Viking Adrian Peterson, for the honor based on fan voting. In game play the speed of different players is very important. Skilled positions needing speed are running back, wide receiver, cornerback, and safety. This fact remains true over all versions of Madden Football.

Answer: Echidna

Knuckles is the remaining descendant of the Echidna Clan and is also the last echidna on Earth in the "Sonic" world. His main role is to guard the ancient relic, the Master Emerald, from would-be abusers. He bears two spikes on each fist which enable him to dig rapidly and climb walls when necessary. His dominant feature is his super-strength. He also has the ability to zip around at breakneck speeds and, whilst he can keep up with both Sonic and Tails, he cannot match Sonic when the hedgehog is at maximum speed.

The echidna is the only monotreme of the above choices, the remainder are all Australian marsupials.
