While checking out the supplies a girl by the name of Sasha appears in the cargo hold and informs you that she ran away from the Mandalorians that took over her village on Dantooine.

When travelling with Carth (female role), an old war buddy of Carth's tells him that his son has joined the Sith Academy on Korriban. This then becomes a side quest.

Mannan is the only planet in the galaxy that has Kolto. This substance is the most powerful healing source known in the galaxy.

These people are Carth, Bastilla, Canderous, T3-M4, HK-47, Juhani, Jolee, Mission and Zaalbar. This makes nine but since Trask joins at the beginning, so this brings the total up to ten. Jolee, Bastilla and Juhani are all from the Jedi Order. Zaalbar and Mission are best friends from Taris. T3-M4 and HK-47 are both droids, and Carth and Canderous are both soldier classes from opposing forces of the Mandalorian War.

When you find the first Star Map on Dantooine after searching the ruins, the Jedi Council sends you to investigate. You begin the main story quest by finding the other Star Maps in the galaxy.

When you are on the mission from the council based on going into the grove, you'll see that a fallen Jedi called Juhani has made this place her home and you are forced to battle her. When you defeat her you have a choice of either killing her or saving her.

You encounter Darth Malak twice in the game; once on Saul Karath's Sith ship and again on the Star Forge. On Karath's ship Malak tells you how he stole the title of Sith Lord from you when you were Darth Reven. Then, on the Star Forge he realises that 'fate' has kept you alive and the only way to destroy you is to kill you himself.
