Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. How many truths are there to unlock?

Answer: Four

The main point of the game is to uncover the four "truths" so that Reynardo knows what decisions to make in order for him to choose the right destiny (and achieve the game's "true" ending). The first truth is that his close friend Lapino is, in fact, a traitor and on the side of the Empire all along.

The second truth is that Zenobia still has feelings for Reynardo, despite being the greatest general of the Emperor and on his side. He'll need to use this knowledge to convince of her father's potentially catastrophic search for power.

The third truth is that the Iblis Stone can corrupt anyone. Its thirst for blood will only end in the imprisoned god Iblis coming forth and devouring everything, stopping time. The fourth truth is that the Skyripper is unstable.

It is discovered in one story that using the Skyripper has a 1 in 128 chance of destroying the universe due to its sheer, chaotic, unbridled power.
2. Which of these is not one of the swords that Reynardo is able to craft and wield?

Answer: Windraker

Initially, Reynardo will start out with a Hero Sword after crafting it. Collecting more ore and essences throughout the various stories will allow him to craft the three other swords, each with their own magical properties. Winterthorne requires Water Essences to craft and can freeze enemies if its magic is used in combat.

The Void Blade needs Wind Essences and increases Reynardo's movement and attack speed if he harnesses its magic. Fire Essences are key components of Firestorm, which, as its name suggests, can set enemies on fire with its magic.

The Hero Sword also has the ability to heal Reynardo. Each sword can be upgraded once from its default level by collecting more ore and essences.
3. Where is the Rebel Council hidden?

Answer: Ubar

Hidden within the city of Ubar, the Council are the allies of Reynardo. However, in more than one story, the Council will be betrayed or slaughtered or destroyed by either Reynardo or Zenobia. There are times, though, when the Council venerates Reynardo's actions and, on one occasion, vows to name their new capital city after him after he sacrifices himself for the greater good of the empire.
4. Into what can Reynardo socket a maximum of three gems to gain some passive bonuses?

Answer: Gauntlet

Gems can be found in large red chests scattered throughout each story. These are usually more hidden and out of the way than the regular blue chests. Gems come in three levels and a variety of flavours, each granting Reynardo a different passive effect to help him along.

These include increasing his attack speed, increasing his resistance to magical or physical attacks, and increasing the chance to find rare loot. Finding a higher level gem of the same type as one already found will permanently replace it until all level 3 gems have been obtained.
5. What is Reynardo's airship called?

Answer: Farfarer

Reynardo's trusty ship frequently appears in the game's stories to convey him to his destinations, but sometimes ends up a little bit worse for wear. At some points, the narrator mentions that the Farfarer is the fastest ship in the land, capable of completing the Kestrel Run in twelve furlongs (the game is rife with little cultural references, you see).
6. Where is the Iblis Stone found?

Answer: The desert temple

Quite possibly a more dangerous artifact than the Skyripper, the Iblis Stone affects anyone who comes into contact with it. When either Reynardo, Zenobia or Lapino has it in their possession, the stone will whisper to them, coercing them to kill more and more. Once its user is corrupted enough and a suitable amount of blood has been split, the stone reaches maximum power and the god Iblis returns, bringing an end to time and space.
7. Pretty much all the enemies Reynardo fights (with the exception of the sentry-like Predators) will be which type of animal?

Answer: Raven

Reynardo will encounter the brawn of the empire in every one of his stories. At first, he'll just be fighting Grunts but as he progresses, gets stronger, knows more of his destiny and gains further skills, his enemies will become tougher and more types will appear, like Shield Ravens, Raven Warlocks and kamikaze-style Explosive Ravens.

When Reynardo enters an area meant for an encounter, the Ravens will appear out of thin air and begin attacking. Predators patrol the Library of Ubar and can also be found in the desert temple and Zenobia's city.
8. Denouncing Lapino and confronting him about his treachery when first finding him will not result in an official story ending.

Answer: True

Once Reynardo has unlocked the truth that Lapino is a traitor, he'll have the option of calling him out on his perfidiousness as soon as he meets him in the village graveyard. Lapino will, at first, deny it and ask where this accusation came from. Reynardo bluffs by saying the Rebel Council found his code book. Lapino will then admit it, but summon a flock of Ravens to kill Reynardo, ending his story early.

A "Dark Souls"-esque "You have died" will appear on the screen, with the option to replay the whole of the last chapter and make the right decision this time.

There are other choices in the game which also result in an abrupt ending like this, like the decision to split the Iblis Stone into good and evil parts.
9. Which of these is not a skill or item that Reynardo can use in combat?

Answer: Summon (an ally)

The first item Reynardo receives after training his first skill point is the Hookshot, capable of latching onto pylons and hauling himself over distances. In combat, he can use it to rip the shield out of the hands (or wings) of a Raven and/or pull a Raven closer to him and his blade.

The Dash ability allows him to dart about the battlefield and, when upgraded, through enemies, causing a little bit of damage to them. The Counter is a particularly handy skill that gives Reynardo a window of opportunity to riposte his enemy's attack when an exclamation mark appears above their head.
10. Who is Reynardo chasing after in the game's prologue?

Answer: Peter

Reynardo chases down a rabbit named Peter who has a particularly important book in his possession. This is the game's central book that shows Reynardo's destinies and furthers each of his stories. While Peter always seems to stay one step ahead throughout the prologue, he is incinerated by a Predator just as he's about to make it to the safety of an airship. Reynardo scoops up the book from his ashes and takes it for himself.
