Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which is NOT a hiding spot for any of the bunnies you need to find in the Gateway Galaxy?

Answer: The blue house

There is no way to enter the blue house in the first galaxy, so none can hide there. The bunnies will then lead you to the top of a building where Rosalina waits.
2. Which move does Mario learn after talking to Rosalina?

Answer: Spin

Rosalina gives you the white Luma you saw earlier and it gives him the ability to spin. Jumping is Mario's natural ability and he cannot punch.
3. After clearing the first galaxy and rescue the Grand Star, where do you go?

Answer: Comet Observatory

The Comet Observatory is the main hub where you go to after acquiring each star. It is divided into several sections on several levels.
4. What is the name of the first dome that Mario goes to after the first galaxy?

Answer: Terrace

The Terrace contains the first galaxies you can return to so you can complete the missions inside that galaxy. Field and Grassland do not exist.
5. In the Good Egg Galaxy, what is the name of the first mission?

Answer: Dino Piranha

In this mission, Mario ventures through the galaxy to defeat Dino Piranha on his small planet. A Snack of Cosmic Proportions is the second mission in Good Egg, and The First Mission doesn't exist.
6. A sling star sends Mario farther than a launch star.

Answer: False

It is the other way around. Sling stars usally send Mario to a higher part of a planet, and a launch star sends Mario to far away planets.
7. How does Mario damage Dino Piranha throughout the battle with it?

Answer: He has to spin on the brown ball at the end of its tail

That is how he damages it from when it wanders inside the egg to the final blow. Jumping on it will cause Mario damage, there are no coconuts on the planet, and there is no way to jump off the planet.
8. Do star bits come out of Dino Piranha when he is hit?

Answer: Yes

This happens for just about every boss battle throughout the game. Dino Piranha has to be hit three times after being released from his egg before he is defeated.
9. How does Mario obtain a power star after clearing a mission?

Answer: By touching it

This is how Mario got the stars in "Super Mario 64" and the Shine Sprites in "Super Mario Sunshine", so obviously the same mechanic exists in "Galaxy". Shooting a star bit at it does nothing, there usually are not any coconuts near a star, and spinning next to it doesn't do anything.
10. After Mario clears the first two missions in Good Egg Galaxy, what is the name of the galaxy he unlocks next?

Answer: Honeyhive Galaxy

Honeyhive Galaxy is the second galaxy to be unlocked in the Terrace, and it is unlocked by collecting three stars (the Grand Star in the Gateway Galaxy, and two from Good Egg). Honeybee Galaxy does not exist. Honeyclimb Galaxy appears later in the game, and Honeyhop Galaxy appears in "Super Mario Galaxy 2".
