1. What are the available categories you can play by in VS. Mode?

Answer: Bonus, Coin, Time, Stock

These are the descriptions of the four categories. On Bonus, you play for points that are gained by your fighting styles. On Stock, you play until there's one character left standing. The lives go up to 99. On Coin, you play to get the most coins by the end of the match. You hit the other characters to get their coins. Finally, on Time, you play for points that are based by the K.O.s in a battle.

2. How many characters do you have in the beginning of the game?

Answer: Fourteen

You start with the characters, Mario, Pikachu, Bowser, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Captain Falcon, Fox, Ness, Ice Climbers, Kirby, Samus, Zelda, and Link. There are eleven characters that you can unlock.

3. Which character do you have to unlock first?

Answer: You can unlock them in any order you want

You unlock Jigglypuff by playing Classic mode with any character except for Mario. If you play with Mario, you unlock Dr. Mario first no matter what.

Cruel Melee is only for the most skilled players. There's no such thing as Mega Melee, Immortality Melee, or Super Melee.

The All-Star Match Deluxe is the last of the All-Star Matches. It's way harder than the other All-Star Matches.

The event matches that have that are: Trouble King, Lord of the Jungle, Spare Change, Yoshi's Egg, Kirby's Air Raid, Bounty Hunters, Link's Adventure, Peach's Peril, Gargantuans, Samus, Triforce Gathering, Target Acquired, Lethal Marathon, Seven Years, Time for a Checkup, Space Travelers, Jigglypuff Live, En Garde!, Trouble King 2, Birds of Prey, and Game and Watch Forever! On all of the rest, you can choose any character you want to play as.

7. How many Special Melee modes are there?

Answer: Ten

They are: Stamina Mode, Super Sudden Death, Giant Melee, Tiny Melee, Invisible Melee, Fixed Camera Mode, Single Button Mode, Lightning Melee, and Slo-Mo Melee. The other one is Camera Melee. You can take snapshots while you play in that mode!

8. In the Trophy Gallery, what color is the third Luigi trophy you see?

Answer: Pink

The first two Luigis are green. You get the pink Luigi trophy by winning the All-Star mode with Luigi (color doesn't matter).

Answer: Play VS. mode 300 times

The other way is to play with all of the characters you get in the beginning of the game at least once in VS. mode. When you unlock Marth, you can play in Classic Mode with him without losing a life to get Roy. Roy is Marth's counterpart (has nearly the same moves).

10. Who is the character that gets unlocked by playing Target Test, Classic Mode, or Adventure Mode and winning with all of the rest of the characters?

Answer: Mr. Game and Watch

You have to unlock all of the rest of the characters before you even have a chance of unlocking Mr. Game and Watch. Along with unlocking him, you also unlock the All-Star Mode in the Regular 1-P category.

You can find the movies in the archives. It doesn't start teaching the other things until the second lesson (how to run).

The Starman makes you invincible for a short period of time. In the original "Super Smash Bros.", it also let you harm enemies just by touching them.

If you press start while in Flat Zone, you can see that the whole stage is inside a portable gaming system. Also, there are a lot of obstacles in Flat Zone. You can actually get hit by tools falling from the sky.

15. What happens when the secondary (pink) Ice Climber gets hit?

Answer: Nothing

When the lighter colored Ice Climber falls out of the arena, the darker colored Ice Climber stays on the arena. The darker colored Ice Climber is then left alone. Without the lighter colored Ice Climber, it can't make it's survival attack (A.K.A up on your control stick and press B attack) work. It needs both Ice Climbers to do it at once.
