1. When Raiden and Shinnok battled for Earthrealm, which race was nearly brought to extinction?

Answer: The Saurians

When Shinnok tried to take over Earthrealm, Raiden had a choice of either battling Shinnok to save Earthrealm or bringing an entire race to near extinction. The Saurians eventually found a new realm for them repopulate and thrive once again: Zaterra, or "New Earth".

2. How many Ninjas have beared the name "Sub-Zero" in the Sub-Zero lineage?

Answer: Six

There's only two in the games: an older and younger brother. The storyline claims that their father was the fourth to bear the name.

3. Which warrior is the fifth Sub-Zero (the older brother) known as after being killed by Scorpion?

Answer: Noob Saibot

After Scorpion killed Sub-Zero, his soul was tainted after decending into the Netherrealm. There, he became Noob Saibot and a member of the Brotherhood of the Shadow.

4. Which faction was created to protect Earthrealm and train warriors to compete in Mortal Kombat after the Great Kung Lao defeated Shang Tsung?

Answer: White Lotus Society

The White Lotus Society was created by the Great Kung Lao after he defeated Shang Tsung. The Society continued training new warriors, even after the Great Kung Lao's death at the hands of Goro.

5. Who was the agent working in the Outer World Investigation Agency that was also secretly working for the Red Dragon?

Answer: Hsu Hao

Hsu Hao is a Red Dragon Clan member who worked for the OWIA to get rid of a rival clan: the Black Dragon Clan. He was later fought and supposedly killed by Jax.

Ermac was freed from Shao Kahn's control by Kenshi. In appreciation, Ermac taught Kenshi telekinesis and, with some convincing from Liu Kang's spirit, vowed to right the wrongs he committed under Shao Kahn's control.

Khameleon was born of the Saurian (or raptor) race. She has not had much part in the "Mortal Kombat" storyline but is attempting to inform Reptile that Shao Kahn was the one who nearly destroyed their race after merging Outworld and Zaterra together.
