Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The Swamp Tourist Guide really wants a picture of the Deku King, but Link is nowhere to be found! He'll settle for ANY type of picture by now. Which boss should the guide hire, since he can literally "capture" the image of the Deku King?

Answer: Yuga

Yuga could turn the Deku King into a painting, similar to what he did to a lot of people he encountered in "A Link Between Worlds."

Yuga is notable for his painting transformations on all the Sages, Zelda, Link, the Hyrule soldiers, and even Princess Hilda! Theoretically, it's plausible he could do the same to the Deku King.
2. While on the Great Sea, Tetra's crew is being targeted by the Ghost Ship! Tetra decides that the best plan is try to damage and submerge the ship. Which aquamarine boss should Tetra hire, given he's already tangled down a giant ship before?

Answer: Tentalus

Tentalus from "Skyward Sword" is the boss that essentially destroys and submerges the Sandship. He's the only boss in the list that's actually attacked and damaged an actual ship.

The giant squid isn't a boss. It makes me think of the Big Octo, but that's a mini-boss.
3. The Oracle Din asks Link to join her Troupe of Performers, but noticing he lacks interest in his dancing, Din is disappointed with Link. She wants a real and enthusiastic dancer! Which boss fits this role, as he can moonwalk, pirouette, and even do the Hopak?

Answer: Majora's Incarnation

Majora's Incarnation's dancing and eccentric movements are strange for a final boss, but it's these elements that make it hard to hit. He also has some child-like screams he makes when he's hit or when he runs away. Overall, he's quite abnormal for a serious game such as "Majora's Mask."

The other choices do have dance-like movements, but no one them come close to doing the specific dance techniques of Majora's Incarnation.

Flare Dancer is a mini-boss as well.
4. Mila's Father wants to ascend the Forsaken Fortress, but he can't hide in barrels to sneak past Moblins. He resorts to hiring a henchman to go ahead of him to pick off the Moblins! The henchman should be invisible to the naked eye, though, so he isn't spotted. Which metaphysical boss should Mila's dad hire?

Answer: Bongo Bongo

Bongo Bongo is the perfect fit for this job. In "Ocarina of Time", do you remember what he did to Sheik and Link in Kakariko Village? He easily tore through them, since they couldn't see him.

The best way to combat Bongo Bongo is to make him visible with the Lens of Truth, but none of the Moblins have that.

Regarding the other bosses, none of them can be invisible.
5. Nabooru fears she will be attacked by Koume and Kotake! Nabooru wants to be proactive, but she has nothing to exploit the witches' only two weaknesses: fire and ice. Which boss should she call to defend her, knowing that he CAN hit the witches with fire and ice attacks?

Answer: Trinnex

Trinnex is the only boss here with fire and ice attacks. The other bosses all have fire attacks.

The ironic part here is that though Trinnex could exploit the witches' weaknesses, Trinnex's weakness can be taken advantage of by the witches as well. However, the question was simply who can hit both witches effectively.
6. The Moblin King is trying to run his bomb business, but he can't keep up with his bottom line when the Gorons are growing bomb flowers. Enraged, he resolves to eliminate the Gorons and decides to post a wanted ad for a Goron-killer. Which Goron-eating boss should really take this offer?

Answer: Volvagia

In "Ocarina of Time," Link the Goron tells the Hylian Link that Volvagia eats Gorons. Ganondorf actually puts some of the Gorons on Death Mountain in the Fire Temple to be eaten by Volvagia in order to discourage resistance against Ganondorf's rule.
7. Skyloft's Fledge has turned over a new leaf lately and is looking ready to be a knight. He has easily defeated Green Chu Chus, Keese, Remlits, and even some Deku Babas. Knowing this, which one of these bosses can Fledge readily defeat? Think carefully about size.

Answer: Big Green Chu Chu

The Big Green Chu Chu from the "Minish Cap" is actually a normal sized green Chu Chu!

So by knowing that he has easily defeated Green Chu Chus, he can easily defeat this boss. The only reason why it's called the Big Green Chu Chu is because Link is in Minish form when he faces it.
8. Ganondorf from "Ocarina of Time" has a devious plan to make sure Link will never get in his way. Since the young Link sleeps so much, Ganondorf plans to lock him in a sleep long enough for him to take over Hyrule. Ideally, which boss should Ganondorf contact for this task?

Answer: The Nightmares

The Nightmares are basically the eponymous contenders for this job. Their great achievement to support this is that they prolonged the dream of the Windfish in order to carry out their menace.

The rest of the bosses here do have metaphysical powers, but nothing close to anything that deals with sleep or dreams.
9. The maidens and princesses in this game should be more careful! Accordingly, Seres anticipates Yuga coming to the Sanctuary and wants to setup a decoy to fool him and escape. Given his ability to disguise himself as a Maiden, who can easily make himself a decoy to fool Yuga?

Answer: Blind the Thief

Yuga will get a surprise if he ever takes this "maiden" outside into the light! The sanctuary's dark atmosphere makes this a perfect decoy opportunity for Blind the Thief (from "A Link to the Past"), since he's unable to sustain his disguise in sunlight.
10. Link wants to setup a competition for the Dead Man's Volley (the volley of a magic projectile) with the best players in the world. Which one of these bosses will he NOT invite, since they haven't ever been seen doing the Dead Man's Volley?

Answer: Demise

The Cubus Sisters actually explicitly use the the phrase, "Dead Man's Volley" prior to their boss battle.

This is useful since the DMV is common interaction between Link and multiple bosses.

Demise doesn't start a Dead Man's Volley exchange, which is uncommon NOT to do in final boss fights (at least one phase has it). Demise does use a sword beam, the lightning Skyward Strike, but it can't be reflected to play the DMV.
