IQ can see electronics through walls and floors. While most would agree that she is very overshadowed by Thatcher's ability, she finds her true calling in the game's "Terrorist Hunt" mode.

Frost is a terror as a defender. The "Super 90" shotgun fires fast and does large amounts of damage quickly, along with her bear trap specialty and her nitro cell.

Pulse can detect enemies through walls by seeing their heartbeats on his heartbeat sensor. It's a super efficient tactic to place a nitro cell on a fortified window or door and use the heartbeat sensor to detect when there's someone on the receiving end.

Smoke's... well, smoke, is a very effective way of keeping the attackers at bay. When it hurts to breathe, you might be deterred as well.
