Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts

1. Moira Brown is one of the more prominent NPCs during the early stages of the game, residing in Megaton. However, where does Moira work?

Answer: Craterside Supply

You will go to her for one of the first side quests you receive, 'The Wasteland Survival Guide'. She is the most reliable merchant towards the start of the game.

2. Still in Megaton, one of the residents gives you the side quest 'Blood Ties'. Who is this NPC?

Answer: Lucy West

She asks you to go to the small settlement of Arefu to check on her family. But "Fallout" being as it is, it is never that simple.

3. After giving him caps or running and errand for him, Moriarty tells you where dear old dad has went. Where does he tell you to look?

Answer: Galaxy News Radio

This is where you meet Three Dog in person and can do the optional quest of restoring the satellite dish for better reception when listening to GNR. If you kill him his job will be taken over by Margaret who will simply play music repeatedly and say that Three Dog is dead.

Answer: Project Purity

This project is to distribute free, clean water to everyone in the wasteland. You can see it in action if you have the 'Broken Steel' add-on.

5. There is a war going on in the Capital Wasteland between two large forces, and you can tip the scale. Who is this battle between?

Answer: Brotherhood of Steel V Enclave

If you have 'Broken Steel' you can either blow up The Citadel, the BoS HQ or Adams Air Force Base, the Enclave HQ. The choice is yours.

6. When finding out the location of the GECK, a device that could make James' project actually happen, you find out it is in a Vault-Tec Vault. However, which vault is it?

Answer: Vault 87

Vault 87 is accessible through Lamplight Caverns. Vault 101 is where your player-character grows up. Vaut 92 is where you can find the Soil Stradivarius for the quest 'Agatha's Song'. Vault 3 is in "Fallout: New Vegas" and it is occupied by Fiends.

7. When searching for the GECK, you meet a friendly, non-feral ghoul named Fawkes who offers to help you find the GECK?

Answer: False

You meet a friendly Super Mutant instead. His name is still Fawkes however.

After you complete the final quest, if you have the 'Broken Steel' add-on , you will discover she has moved to the Commonwealth due to stress. Her first name is Madison.

Answer: Elder Lyons

Elder Lyons was given no further reinforcements due to the fact he put the needs of the people of the wasteland above those of the Brotherhood. He received a promotion to Elder after discovering Liberty Prime and was given a new directive to establish a new base in The Citadel.

Answer: Burke

You can also tell Lucas Simms about him and end up with him getting killed. You can then kill Mister Burke for no karma loss and no one will be aggressive towards you and you can loot them both.
