Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which of the following pinatas does not start out as a sour?

Answer: Buzzenge

A Buzzenge is never sour. Sherbat, Profitamole, and Cocoadile all have a sour counterpart. Sour Sherbat appears level 9, Sour Profitamole appears level 19, and Sour Cocoadile appears level 27.
2. Which pinata needs the most square feet of water in the garden to fulfill their romance requirements?

Answer: Chippopatamus

For a Chippopatamus to romance, you will need to have at least 700 square pinometers (70%) of water in your garden. A Swanana only needs 300 square pinometers (30%), a Sweetooth only needs 140 square pinometers (14%), and a cocoadile only needs 190 square pinometers (19%).
3. Romancing must always be between two pinatas of the same species.

Answer: False

Although this is almost completely true, there is one exception. It is possible to cross-romance a Rashberry and a Swanana to make a Pigxie.
4. How much is an orchid with full bonus growth worth?

Answer: 1,800 chocolate coins

An orchid flowerhead is worth 450. With full growth, there are four flowerheads on an orchid plant. 450 x 4 = 1,800.
5. A man named Ivor begs for money in the beginning of the game. What happens if you give him enough chocolate coins?

Answer: He opens up his own shop.

The beggar in your garden may seem like a pest, but if you collectively give him 1,000 chocolate coins, he will reward you by opening his own shop called Ivor Bargain (a play on the phrase, "eye for a bargain"). His shop has many products otherwise not available such as the Special Mix Fertilizer and the Gem Tree Seed.
6. Which of the following pinatas will never visit your garden?

Answer: Salamango

Sparrowmint and Roario are both ordinary pinatas and will visit your garden before becoming a resident. A Shellybean will come to your garden as a sour, but after you transform your first it will possible to attract more (regular) Shellybeans. A Salamango is a resident in your garden when you give a chili to a Newtgat.

This makes it impossible to ever have one visit your garden, only to have one as a resident. Tip: When buying a Salamango from Gretchen's Fetchins, it is cheaper and faster to buy a Newtgat and a chili than to buy a Salamango.
7. Which of the following is not needed to make a Parrybo variant?

Answer: Corn

A Venus Pinata Trap will change a Parrybo's color to orange. An oak seed and cheese will change a Parrybo's color to yellow and green. A bluebell flower and a nightshade berry will change a Parrybo's color to blue. Corn has no effect over any variants in a Parrybo.
8. Which of the following is the highest level pinata?

Answer: Dragonache

A Newtgat is a level 4, an Eaglair is a level 9, and Roario is a level 10, but a Dragonache is a level 11. In the storyline, Dragonache is the only pinata Jardiniero, the original gardner, could not catch.
9. What eventually happens if you sprinkle water on Leafos?

Answer: She will take away your watering can

The first time you sprinkle water on Leafos, she will scold you and tell you that she can decide when she needs to bathe. The second time you sprinkle her, Leafos will take your watering can altogether for a minute or two.
10. "The Dastardos Scarer" keeps Dastardos out of your garden as long as you have it in your garden.

Answer: False

"The Dastardos Scarer" doesn't keep Dastardos out of your garden but it makes the time before Dastardos comes out of his house longer. It comes in handy if you have a lot of sick pinatas at once.
