Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Where are we if we're in Dark Aether for the second time?

Answer: Agon Wastes

Although we will follow our dark doppelganger into the very first dark portal in Hive Chamber B, none of what follows in this first journey into Dark Aether will be playable, and this instance will leave us with a bad taste in our mouths (the Ing aren't friendly).

The next time that we look into the 'Dark Aether Situation' is in Agon Wastes, but in order to accomplish this, we must turn into a Morph Ball, traverse the walls of the Agon Wastes Portal Terminal, and activate the portal to the dark world via a large light-focusing apparatus. Upon activating this, we will need to head to the Judgment Pit to collect the Space Jump Boots.
2. Where are we if we're claiming the Super Missiles?

Answer: Temple Grounds

The Super Missiles are a relatively useful upgrade to gain as they will both provide superior firepower and open the green locked doors around Aether and Dark Aether. We need to travel to the Hall of Honored Dead in the Temple Grounds (directly beneath the Great Temple itself) in order to collect this fine item, but before we can, we must use the four spinners in different directions of the room to solve a unique spinning floor puzzle and unlock the protective case in which the weapon rests. In obtaining this weapon, we'll now be able to travel to even more areas!
3. Where could we not be if we've just found an Ammo Station?

Answer: Temple Grounds

Ammo Stations are much less plentiful than Save Stations in "Metroid Prime 2", so it's always important to refill our ammunition stock before continuing on if we do happen to find them. To refill, much like a Save Station, we just simply need to step into the location indicated.

This station will refill Missiles and Power Bombs as well as Dark and Light Beam ammunition, so it does save us the time and effort normally needed. The location in Dark Torvus Bog is adjacent and below Dark Torvus Temple, the location in Ing Hive is connected to the Hive Reactor (it's known as the Ing Cache), and the location in Dark Agon Wastes is next to the Dark Oasis.
4. Where are we if we're fighting Blogg?

Answer: Torvus Bog

Blogg is a large aquatic creature, and the majority of aquatic creatures are found in Torvus Bog, perhaps the most water-filled stage in all the "Metroid Prime" games. Blogg (and their smaller versions, Blogglings) will be found in the lower portions of the stage within the submerged temple area, and to kill them, we will need to use heavy firepower. Blogglings can be killed simply by shooting rapidly at them, but we need to wait for Bloggs to come to us to attack back with a Missile. Alpha Blogg, the big boss hiding the Gravity Boost in the Main Hydrochamber, is pretty similar in nature, but packs a bigger punch. Bigger Missiles may be needed.
5. Where are we if we're at the GFMC Compound?

Answer: Temple Grounds

The GFMC Compound is a lovely, scenic cliffside in the Temple Grounds home to many dead Federation troopers, a large spaceship, and periodically, some War Wasps and Pirate Troopers. This area is home to a Missile Expansion we can jump to on the top of the ship. Coincidentally, the Dark Aether version of this room will result in our finding of another Missile Expansion. During our first visit here, we can find the Missile Launcher itself, which will inevitably let us access the Luminoth Temple if we can wind our way back around the grounds.
6. Where are we if we're at the Ing Reliquary?

Answer: Sky Temple Grounds

The Ing Reliquary is home to one of our many Sky Temple Keys, and to reach it we need to travel to Dark Aether and navigate the Phazon-covered portions of the Sky Temple Grounds. D-Isl will be found in the Light Aether counterpart of this room, Storage Cavern A, but we can't access that until very late in the game (it's a matter of needing more powerful weapons). Just outside this room (on the light side), in the Communication Area, we can find a Missile Expansion by Power Bombing under a large, metal plate.
7. Where are we if we're recharging in Samus' Gunship?

Answer: Temple Grounds

Samus' Gunship crashes into a cave in the Temple Grounds, and following this, repairs will need to be made. This incentive will give us the ample opportunity to explore and search the area for the Federation Troopers. We can refill our ammo and energy at this location and at any time.

Although the Gunship is in the Temple Grounds, we can find a Sky Temple Key in the Dark Aether version of this room (known as the Defiled Shrine). As well, since we can use Annihilator Beam by this point of the game, defeating the Warrior Ing here should be a breeze...like moths to a flame.

As a side-note, we can scan the Gunship for our logbook, but only while it's being repaired. Later on in the game, we can't scan it.
8. Where are we if we're fighting the final boss?

Answer: Sky Temple Grounds

The final boss, Dark Samus, is fought directly below the Sky Temple. After we fight Emperor Ing in the actual Sky Temple, the timer will begin its countdown and we'll need to hightail it out of Dark Aether before the dimension and universe collapse in on themselves. Dark Samus will stop in at the Sky Temple Gateway and block off the door with Phazon to begin our final battle. Once Dark Samus meets its end, we can jump into the portal and return the final bit of energy to finish the game. Yay!
9. Where could we be if we've just collected the Gravity Boost?

Answer: Torvus Bog

The Gravity Boost, while useful in obscure situations, is not the most important item ever, but nonetheless, we can find it in the undertemple of Torvus Bog. To obtain it, we must make our way to the Hydrochamber Storage of Torvus Bog and simply upgrade the suit (the Dark Suit at the time).

After this upgrade though, we will retreat into the Main Hydrochamber to find the main boss of the undertemple, the Alpha Blogg. This unique creature is an angry beast, but unfortunately, it has a huge weakness within its mouth that will be the ultimate downfall of the creature if concussive blasts are used.
10. Where are we if we're fighting Sandiggers?

Answer: Agon Wastes

Sandiggers are creatures found buried in the sands of Agon Wastes, and while we may not actually come across these so much later in the game, their prominence much earlier in the game can not go unnoticed. Sandiggers are protected in the front, but the portions of their body that follow are quite vulnerable to even the simplest of attacks. Later on, the Alpha Sandigger will be one of the first bosses of the game, and while it doesn't really give up a weapon for us until it transforms into the Bomb Guardian, we will be able to access the energy controller. Later on, Amorbis is very similar to Sandiggers, but there will be three of them, and they are fought in the Judgment Pit of Dark Agon Wastes. Defeating this creature will result in the Dark Suit.
