Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which of these games are Mii compatiable?

Answer: Both

Miis are customizable avatars you can create on your Wii. After creating your Mii, you can use them in "Wii Sports" as team players in baseball, opponents in boxing, and crowd members in boxing and tennis. Plus, in "Wii Play," they can be found in the Pose Mii and Find Mii games.
"Wii Sports" and "Wii Play" are not the only Mii-compatible games.
2. When starting a game of bowling, if you hold down on the D-Pad, the color of your bowling ball will change to what color?

Answer: Green

To change the color of your bowling ball, you can the D-Pad up for blue, (although it is the default bowling ball color) left for a pink/red ball, down for a green ball, and right for a gold ball.
Purple is not available for a bowling ball color.
3. During the Power Throws training mode, there is a stage where you try to hit 91 bowling pins with one throw. Is there another way of hitting the pins other than throwing the bowling ball down the lane?

Answer: Yes

When you get to this stage in Power Throws, try throwing the ball on top of the right barrier so it rolls down the barrier instead of the lane. If done successfully, you will hear the sound of a rock crashing into the ground a few seconds later. Then, all the pins will fall down.
In the Power Throws training mode, you are trying to increase your bowling power by knocking down row after row of pins. With each stage, there are more pins.
4. During the Hitting the Green Training Mode, if your golf ball does not stay on the green, how many feet does that add to your total?

Answer: 100

During the Hitting the Green training, you are trying to hit your golf ball near the hole, or on the green. The number of feet you are away from the hole is added to a total. If the ball does not long on the green, it adds 100 feet to your total.
5. Is it possible to make your tennis court an alternate color?

Answer: Yes

Usually, when you play a game of tennis, your tennis court is green, but if you press the button on your Wii-mote that says 2, your court will be blue instead of green. There will not be any walls in your court area when this is done.
6. In the game Charge!, you ride a cow and run over scarecrows.

Answer: True

While playing Charge!, you topple scarecrows as you race to a finish line. Each scarecrow you knock over a scarecrow, you earn points. Plus, you earn an additional point for every extra second you have to spare when you cross the finish line.
7. Which of the following animals are targets in the game Shooting Range?

Answer: Ducks

In Shooting Range, you try to shoot down various items such as balloons and targets. You can also earn bonus points for hitting ducks, Miis, or by hitting items continuously without missing.
8. When playing multiplayer Table Tennis, the game ends when one player reaches what score?

Answer: 11

When player Table Tennis against another player, you take turns hitting the ball back and forth. During your game, you are watched by a crowd of Miis (like in "Wii Sports" when you play boxing and tennis) as you race to score 11 points.

Tip: You don't need to move your entire arm when playing table tennis. Just enough to move the Wii-mote across the screen.
9. When playing multiplayer Laser Hockey, the match ends when one player reaches what score?

Answer: 8

Laser Hockey is very similar to Air Hockey games at video game arcades. When played on single player mode, you play against a computer for a two minute time period.
10. When you play Billiards, which of these balls would score you the most when shot in?

Answer: 9

When you play Billiards on "Wii Play," you earn the same number of points as the number on the ball (so if you shoot in the 9 ball, you earn nine points). You earn points and lose points based on the balls you shoot in, and you also lose three points for committing a foul shot. The game ends when every ball on the table is shot in.
