Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the only way a Horde player can reach Azuremyst Isle?

Answer: By boat

Azuremyst Isle is the starting area for the Draenei, and because of this Horde players are not inherently able to go there. Since Azuremyst Isle is advertised so clearly as being separate from the rest of continental Kalimdor, Horde players will need to travel on a boat there arriving at Valaar's Berth, a dock to the southwest of The Exodar.

This is the only way to arrive here for both Alliance and Horde players as a matter of fact- it's too far from the mainland to swim or waterwalk. It's also the only way off the island to Darkshore.
2. What is the name of the Draenei starting location?

Answer: The Crash Site

All of these locations pertain to the large island area on the eastern end of Azuremyst Isle. Players beginning their game as a Draenei will begin their baby steps in this area completing quests designed to get players to learn the basics of the game. Most of the creatures on this island won't even attack you unless provoked.

The Crash Site itself contains a couple of different traders and vendors, but nothing as substantial as what you'll find across the island in The Exodar. Once you reach level 5 it's best to move along...you won't be advancing very far ahead with the low quests here anymore. Nestlewood Hills are found on the southeast corner of Ammen Vale.
3. Which of these is at the entrance to The Exodar?

Answer: The Seat of Naaru

The Exodar is one of the four major towns for Alliance characters and it's the only Alliance-specific major city introduced along with the "Burning Crusade" expansion. Players coming here are entering the Draenei homecity, and because of this a lot of major vendors, traders, and trainers are present inside as well as auctioneers, bankers, and flightpath locations.

The Exodar is found in the western end of Azuremyst Isle, and players visiting it can also hop on the boat to the southwest at Valaar's Berth to head to Darkshore and the town of Auberdine.
4. How many ships are off the coast from Odesyus' Landing?

Answer: Two

Odesyus' Landing is a small sailing encampment on the southern shore of Azuremyst Isle. With a group led by Admiral Odesyus, many of the characters here are seasoned seafarers, and a few of the quests they give will take you along the southern region of the island. If you've just emerged from training at Ammen Vale, you're likely to hit up this place first. Near this shoreline location, you'll also find a Venture Co. mine to the east known as Geezle's Camp.
5. Which of these herbs can not be harvested in Azuremyst Isle?

Answer: Briarthorn

Because Azuremyst Isle is one of the earlier zones in the game for certain players, the herbs which can be collected here are also lower-leveled. People starting their Herbalism profession in Azuremyst (it can be attained from a trainer in The Exodar) can pick up any of the three incorrect answers from the get-go, but Briarthorn is an herb reserved for people who've advanced their profession up a bit more. Traveling to Darkshore should amend the problem. You can find Mageroyal there as well. Both of these herbs are used for 'Lesser' Alchemy creations.
6. What town is found between the Draenei starting point and The Exodar?

Answer: Azure Watch

Azure Watch is the next step up for new players leaving The Crash Site and setting out on their journeys. Home to many of the necessary amenities and a couple trainers, players will find that most of the quests here cover the immediate area from level 5 to level 12 or so. Quest NPCs found here will usually give you killing and collecting quests in order to help you grind along a bit easier. Up the path, players will reach the Exodar easily. Around the village, you can find more of those characteristic crystals and Pod Wreckage pieces that you'll come to remember about this zone.
7. What creatures can be found on Silvermyst Isle?

Answer: Murlocs

Murlocs are water-dwelling creatures which typically don't do much harm unless you're a much lower-leveled player. Silvermyst Island is found on the southwest corner of the zone. Originally a fishing village, many of the citizens were killed after a crystal shard crashed into the main buildings. Now, players on their way to level 10 can visit this once-prosperous village in order to grind a bit or finish a couple quests off, but otherwise, the place is fairly inactive. Venture Co. Miners (of a low level) can be found at Geezle's Camp to the southeast on Azuremyst Isle.
8. What is the name of the Fire Elemental who resides at Emberglade?

Answer: Temper

Although Fire Elementals typically don't look like a friendly bunch, players of both factions can venture over to Emberglade in the northeast corner of Azuremyst Isle to find a burnt-out part of the forest and speak to this level 70 character. Temper has no real use for most players unless you're Draenei and you're a shaman.

After a short quest chain, you'll inevitably be able to make use of the Fire Totem. Emberglade is found slightly to the east of the Menagerie Wreckage along one of the northbound pathways from Azure Watch.
9. Stillpine Hold contains Alliance-friendly NPCs.

Answer: True

Stillpine Hold, found in the northern portion of Azuremyst Isle, is a small settlement of characters which will perform minimal services, but the real reason you'll be there is to exterminate the creatures found within the cave (the hold) itself. Although the Furbolg here are friendly in nature (to Alliance, at least), the Moonkin inside the base are not, and these creatures will give quests which mostly revolve around the removal of said creatures.

The Furbolg have been living here longer than the Draenei, so their influence on one another is mostly just a mutual friendship.
10. Azuremyst Isle only connects directly to one zone (without taking a flightpath or vehicle). What is it?

Answer: Bloodmyst Isle

Bloodmyst Isle is the natural step up for Draenei players beginning their game. While Azuremyst is only designed for players from level 1 to level 10, Bloodmyst Isle increases this journey to near level 20. This area is similar to the Horde equivalent zones, Eversong Woods and Ghostlands, on the northern end of the Eastern Kingdoms. Both of these zones serve the same purpose for Blood Elves, another "Burning Crusade" race introduced with the expansion. Players can reach Bloodmyst Isle by swimming off the northern shore of Azuremyst Isle or by crossing a bridge. Coincidentally, the flightpaths found here will only go back and forth between the two islands.
