After the Majordomo submits to your raid, he calls forth Ragnaros to deal with you. However, if you've come prepared with Fire Resistance, Ragnaros will just be a walk in the park to some easy tier 2 leggings.

Essence of the Red gives you infinite rage, energy or mana for 3 minutes. Basically, it's the only thing that makes this fight possible. However, once he's done helping you, Vael will start blowing people up, breathing fire, and whipping around his deadly tail, making him widely accepted as one of the most deadly bosses in Blackwing Lair. Vaelastrasz is also a key part of the quest chain to get the scepter to open Ahn'Qiraj.

While deadly on its own by dealing 4000+ shadow damage, Shadowflame also delivers a powerful Damage over Time effect if the person hit by it isn't equipped with an Onyxia Scale Cloak. The three drakes of Blackwing Lair that feature this ability, in addition to Wing Buffet (knockback effect with an aggro dump), are called Firemaw, Ebonroc and Flamegor.

The colors are Red, Black, Blue, Green, and Bronze. Each of these colors is representative of a specific Dragonflight that is in the "Warcraft" universe. In addition to these five colors, Nefarion has engineered a way to fuse the powers of the multiple dragonflights, creating the highly deadly Chromatic Drakonids that must be dealt with as well.

The most common strategy for the prophet is to keep two warriors on each of the teleport platforms; that way, if one is Mind Controlled or otherwise incapacited, he won't run wild Earth Shocking those squishy healers! Once you get Skeram down you can move onto Sartura or the Bug Family, but only after defeating many packs of Vekniss Guardians and Qiraji Brainwashers.

Lord Kri is papa, Princess Yauj is mama and Vem is the baby bug! However, you might not think that once you start fighting them. Vem's 2000 hits on plate and erratic fighting style reminds you more of an angry adolescent than a cute little baby. Be sure to take Vem out last, or Kri and Yauj get angry and go super mode when they see their son die. Lord Kri has an AoE poison bolt volley, and Princess Yauj has a periodic fear effect, as well as the ability to spawn multiple smaller elite bugs upon death.

After 30% be ready to go all out, use potions, blow cooldowns, everything you can to get her down ASAP, because those 15 brave sponges take a lot of punishment, and if she's not dead within seconds, they will succumb to the potent poison bolt volley. After you deal with Princess Huhuran you get to move onto the Twin Emperors Vek'nilash and Vek'lor, the lords of Ahn'Qiraj.

But be prepared, the trash mobs between Huhuran and the emps are no small task, having a host of deadly abilities such as Meteor and Plague.

Watch out for this boss; he hits for tens of thousands of damage on any player, even a decked out warrior. Have your priests mind control his understudies and let them do the dirty work! Watch out for his Disrupting Shout and keep the mind controls rolling on the understudies.
