Mzansi Restaurant was in the cook's home. It was not open everyday. The cook, known as Numonde or Mama, also supplied a live marimba band and a small stage for singing and dancing. Booking was essential as it was not a walk-in restaurant. This restaurant was also a buffet with a huge variety of local foods to choose from.

As for the statues, this restaurant is a very homey place and does not have that kind of decoration.
