Answer: Bulgaria

This song was written in 1885 and adopted as the national anthem in 1964. The Pirin Mountains are in the south-west corner of Bulgaria.

Answer: Austria

The title of this anthem is "Land of Mountains, Land of Rivers" ("Land der Berge, Land der Flüsse").

It was adopted as the national anthem in 1864. In that year the 50th anniversary of the Norwegian constitution was celebrated.

Answer: Czech Republic

In 1919 it became the national anthem of Czechoslovakia, which was founded in 1918. At that time the anthem consisted of a Czech and a Slovak section. After Czechoslovakia split into two countries in 1993 (Czech Republic and Slovakia), each country kept its section as its national anthem.

Answer: Belgium

Since Belgium has two official languages (French and Flamish), the lyrics to this anthem exist in both languages. Its lyrics were written by the Belgian Prime Minister Charles Rogier (1800-1885).

Answer: Liechtenstein

The original lyrics for this anthem are in German, which is Liechtenstein's official language ("Oben am jungen Rhein lehnet sich Liechtenstein an Alpenhöh'n"). The anthem is sung to the melody of "God Save the Queen".

Answer: Sweden

The Swedish title for this anthem is "Du gamla, du fria". Its lyrics are written by Richard Dybek (1811-1877), its composer is unknown.
I just love to see the Swedish fans sing their anthem at football matches. They are the coolest football fans ever. Jag älskar Sverige!

This anthem consists of 158 stanzas with four lines each, which makes it supposedly the world's longest national anthem. But I reckon that they usually don't sing all of the stanzas. :-)
10. Which of these countries has got no official lyrics for its national anthem?

Answer: Spain

The anthem is called "Marcha Real" ("Royal March"). There are some discussions about its origin: some people say it`s originally a German melody, some say it's French. It became the national anthem in 1942.
