1. What was the first "model year" of the Chevrolet Camaro?

Answer: 1967

The Camaro was introduced in late 1966 as General Motors' answer to the Ford Mustang, although its designated "model year" was 1967.
2. What did the term "Z28" mean?

Answer: It was a production code that meant the car would have high performance options

1967 was the first year for the "Z28" option. There were only 602 Z/28's made that year making it very rare and highly sought after.
3. What was the only engine size option in the Z/28?

Answer: 302 cubic inches

Chevrolet wanted to race in the SCCA (Sports car clubs of America) racing circuit. The rules said you had to have an engine that was 5.0 litres or less. 5.0 litres converts to 302 cubic inches.
4. The famous Chevrolet "350" cubic inch engine was introduced in the 1967 Camaro.

The "350" has been one of the most reliable motors General Motors ever produced.

The 1967 and the 1969 Camaro were both chosen as the official pace car of the Indianapolis 500 in those respective years. This was a very prestigious accomplishment for a car manufacturer.

Answer: No

Chevrolet did not offer the convertible option to the general public in the Z/28 between 1967-1969. Supposedly "1" 1968 Z/28 was made into a convertible for the CEO of General Motors. It is not certain whether this car still exists today.

Answer: White with Blue rally stripes

There were approximately 100 "replica" pace cars sold at dealers throughout the United States in 1967. They are extremely rare and worth a small fortune.
8. What color was the 1969 Indianapolis 500 Camaro pace car ?

Answer: White with Orange rally stripes

You could order a "replica" pace car from a dealer with a "350" cubic inch motor or a "396" cubic inch motor. The pace car used at Indianapolis came with the "396" option.
9. In which two locations did GM produce the Camaro?

Answer: Van Nuys, California and Norwood, Ohio

Both of these manufacturing facilities were shut down long ago.
10. What was the unique feature(s) offered with the Rally Sport option?

Answer: Hideaway headlights and different taillights and reverse lenses

The Rally sport option could be ordered by itself or it could be combined with the Z/28 option or the Super sport option. you could not combine all three options.
