Answer: Ferdinand and Isabella

Ferdinand and Isabella were cousins who married to strengthen and unify Spain, which had been overtaken by Moors from North Africa and had a sizeable Jewish population. They began the Spanish Inquisition which successfully restored a strong Catholic presence in Spain after expelling from the country members of non-Christian religions. Isabella died in 1504 and Ferdinand married Germaine of Foix soon afterward.

Answer: Argentina

Juan Peron served as President of Argentina from 1946-1955 before being ousted in a coup. Her served as president again in 1973 until he died the next year. Eva Peron served as First Lady from 1946 until she died in 1952. Eva also served as President of the Female Peronist Party for three years. Eva was also the "Spiritual Leader" of Argentina, a post that was created specifically for her.

Prince Albert's official title was Prince Consort of the United Kingdom. As chancellor at Cambridge, he successfully changed the university's curriculum and expanded it beyond math and modernized it. Queen Victoria is known for greatly expanding the British Empire under her reign and utilized cultural and military advancements to gain influence overmuch of the world.

She was the last British monarch from the House of Hanover as her son was from the House of Saxe-Coburg Gotha, like his father.

Answer: Edith Wilson

President Wilson suffered a stroke in 1919. Edith became overprotective of him and refused to allow anyone to see him in his sickly state. When a visitor came, whether it was a friend, politician or world leader, she would take the message and enter Wilson's bedroom and return with an answer.

But since her husband could not speak, her response was usually a mix of what she thought or what she thought her husband wanted. Some historians dispute her accounts, however, and state that Edith Wilson was not very knowledgeable in those areas to have made the important decisions without fooling anyone.

In her memoirs, Edith stated that the most important decisions she made were deciding what items were important enough to bring to her husband's attention. Since Wilson was left partially paralyzed, Edith would often hold the pen as he signed legislation.

Marcos was President of the Philippines from 1965-1986 and simultaneously served as Prime Minister from 1978-1981. Marcos was elected to two terms as president but then declared martial law in 1972 so he could stay in office longer. His rule was dictatorial and brutal and he was forced to call for an election in 1986. He lost to Corazon Aquino but after allegations of electoral fraud on both sides, both Aquino and Marcos claimed themselves president. Anti-Marcos rebels seized control of Manila and Ferdinand and Imelda fled, leaving her humongous collection of shoes, dresses and handbags behind.

Imelda later ran for president in 1992, but lost and finished in fifth. She was elected to the Philippine House of Representatives in 1995 for Leyte's First District and again in 2010 for Ilocos Norte's Second District.

His name is Benigno Aquino III, as his father was Benigno Jr. The Aquino Family continue to be cherished by the Filipino people. They call Corazon "the woman who restore democracy." The Manila International Airport is named after Benigno Jr. and his image is on the 500-peso bill. A public holiday, Ninoy Aquino Day, is celebrated on August 21, the day of his assassination.

Prince Rainier mostly focused on rebuilding Monaco's reputation during his reign, as the country was practically bankrupt through mismanagement. After her marriage, Grace Kelly gave up acting and dedicated herself to charitable causes while maintaining a classical Hollywood grace.

She gave birth to three of his children, despite the fact that he had a wife back in Rome. The Roman Senate declared Antony a traitor after strained relations with Octavian made him declare his loyalty to Cleopatra.

After Octavian invaded Egypt, Antony committed suicide. Cleopatra also killed herself after being captured by Octavian's troops.
10. Benazir Bhutto and her husband Asif Ali Zardari were Prime Minister and President, respectively, of which Islamic country?

Answer: Pakistan

Benazir Bhutto was prime minister from 1988-1990 and again from 1993-1996. She was assassinated in 2007 just before she was expected to win an election to Parliament. Asif Ali Zardari became Pakistan's 11th president in 2008 and served until 2013. His presidency had mixed reviews. People liked him because of his association with Bhutto, but was seen as economically incompetent and not willing to do the will of the people.
