The Lincoln Memorial stands at the western end of the National Mall at West Potomac Park.
2. The Lincoln Memorial was built to resemble the Parthenon. What country is the Parthenon in?

Answer: Greece

The memorial stands 190 feet long, 119 feet wide, and almost 100 feet high. The exterior is made of Colorado Yule marble with a walkway made of Massachusetts granite and Potomac River stones. The interior walls and columns are Indiana limestone, the floor Tennessee Pink marble, and the ceiling is made of panels of Alabama marble soaked in paraffin to make them translucent.

The Parthenon is in Athens.
