The new FT Quiz Bot feature
      #1177202 - Thu Nov 05 2009 01:44 AM

I was thinking of submitting a question in this element of the site. After crafting the question, a list of potential similar questions comes up which might preclude my question's acceptance, which I understand. Duplications are unnecessary. However, I really don't know if my question is the same unless I know the answer is the same! The question already in the roster is pretty generic and several answers are plausible... I'm sure the choice of answers would sort that out!

My question is this. I have the quiz number and I'd like to look at the quiz to see if my potential question is actually a duplicate. I couldn't find a mechanism within the site where I could actually call up a quiz number to ascertain that. Can a quiz be researched just with the quiz number?

Thanks,
Rick

Probably the easiest way to do this is to copy the question, put quotation marks around it, and google it. One of the top links will be to the quiz.

Or you can do this:

http://www.funtrivia.com/playquiz.cfm?qid=<your quiz number here>

I'm not sure where to ask this one, but I check my quizzes from time to time and today they all say "new" there are no sunglasses and no ratings. Is there a new rating system in the makings which eliminated the previous ratings and the sunglasses? Or is there a glitch of some sort?

I'm not really concerned, just curious!

It's just Monday morning. All of that disappears while the new ratings are calculated.

Thanks agony! I was rather liking all my quizzes saying "new" thinking, "woo hoo, people will all be interested in playing the quizzes, 'cause they're new again!" hahahaha!

I can be quite imaginative when I want to be! lol

Have a super great day! Thank you for your reply!
