cinema_sleuth on the case!

I love movies, so there'll be movies. I like mysteries, so there'll be mysteries.

Dark Matter

Whoopee! CBS aired Dark Matter on Friday night. I taped it, because the second season box set doesn't come out until October, which coincidentally is also the month that X-Men: The Last Stand premieres on DVD, and the Hannah Montana soundtrack is released. Plus, the premiere of the movie Stormbreaker, based on the popular book by Anthony Horowitz, is in the month of (who knew?) October. Plus, the Ghost Whisperer: Season One and NUMB3RS: Season Two box sets debut. Boy, between all that and Halloween, I am going to very busy. Whew!

My New Quiz: "NUMB3RS": Calculate this CBS Show

A new quiz of mine has been placed online!  It is in the N category, in Television.  Click on the link below to play it, and feel free to leave comments!

Movie Review: Hangman's Curse

Okay, I will not kid you, I have always found this movie completely, completely terrifying, but also hilarious. I read the book (by the way, did anyone else realize that the cover of the hardcover glows in the dark?), and was thinking "You know, they should make a movie." Well, what do you know? They did in 2003, and it starred David Keith, Mel Harris, Leighton Meester, and Douglas Smith. The author, Frank Peretti, also had a cameo as Dr. Algernon Wheeling. He was hilarious! Anyway, I watched this movie about four times the first time I rented it. However, when I went to rent it again, it had somehow disappeared from the only video store in town who had it. So, I'm buying my own copy. Anyway, I recommend "Hangman's Curse" to anyone who's looking for a frightening flick, plus it has good Christian lessons.

Poem Praising Him

Okay, I'll go for it. I originally wrote this as a song, but this works to:
Love The Lord
White clouds pasted on a bluebird sky
God put them there I just don't know why
One thing that I know for sure
It's that
I love my Creator
I love my Jesus
I love my Three in One
My Holy Ghost
My Holy One
My Holy Son
I love my Lord.
Black clouds pasted on with forked lightning
They just happen I don't know why
There's one thing I can take for granted
It's that
I love my Creator
I love my Jesus
I love my Three in One
My Holy Ghost
My Holy One
My Holy Son
I love my Lord
Every day I take a new turn
For better or for worse
Every day God's on my shoulder
Watching my every step
That's why
I love my Creator
I love my Jesus
I love my Three in One
My Holy Ghost
My Holy One
My Holy Son
I love my Lord
My Holy Ghost
My Holy One
My Holy Son
I love my Lord

I love you Jesus
