Hi everyone!

I know i havent been on the site for a long time...ive been going through some problems...

but i am glad to announce my return and hope to see some old faces are still here!

 

I had to leave university in April due to some mental health issues, but im getting on quite well now.

I have a job working at Sandwell Hospital, both in the nurse bank office and a HCA and im really enjoying it.

Im back to living at home with my parents and have now turned 18! Yay!

Well, its been just over a month and im missing everyone so much! I have seen my parents twice, but most of all im missing my friends, especially Sarah and im missing people who think the same way as me and have the same upbringing. I was really suprised how many mature students are on the course. Im the youngest at 17, but i havent even spoken to anyone under the age of 21 yet! I feel a million miles apart from them socially, but intellectually were on the same wavelength and it is very rewarding. Many of them have got families and children too, so cant come out after uni. We are moving into the course slowly, but it is very interesting. So far, my favourite session has been practising CPR- i was terrible! The dummies are really heavy and i wasnt strong enough to push the chest all the way in haha. O well, im sure ill get there lol. Its really weird though, because some of the dummies, their chests move! Theres children and baby models too and the baby ones are so life like.

i have been so disappointed with FT posters lately. It seems that someone will always find something negative to say or imply something offensive was said when it wasnt. I post a  serious thread and try to add a joke to lighten things up and people have a go about that. Do you want to be miserable? I can sincerely understand why DD left, it takes so much effort to say anything and everything turns into an argument. im so fed up with this, everyone is trying to catch everyone out and god forbid you just ignore comments you dont like. Wheres all the nice people gone?

 

 

Oh my god! In 9 hours i will be at university. I cant sleep! Cant believe its like today, doesnt seem like its happening. Ive still got packing to do-im so disoganised, but ther was no point doing it early because i keep changing my mind about what im going to take.  In 7 hours my family will be coming to say goodbye! My friends here at the mo, so she can come tomorrow for a bit, but shes asleep lol. Im excited but nervous too!

why do people think its okay to undermine other peoples opinions and question their character? what right has anyone got to judge anyone else? and if theyre so right about everything why arent they Prime minister! is it so hard just to post ones opinion and leave, or to have a nice factual debate instead of saying things like "what sort of person would do that, you!" and "well youre young so how can you possibly know..."  Im sick of it. And i only experience this on the chatboards, never the forums. maybe the people who cant formulate their own opinion, only attack other peoples are the ones who arent clever enough to work out the forums, ay? well im not posting anything else until i have calmed down. and if you dont like my blog, dont comment.
