25 things about me

This idea was suggested to me by jonnowales so here it goes...

1, I live in Lytham St.Annes Lancashire, but was born in Glasgow, where I lived until the age of 7.

2, I support Glasgow Celtic. I have visited the stadium several times and was able to meet the players as a few of the coaches were patients of my grandad.

3, Before moving to England I lived with my mum and older brother as my dad had a job in St.Annes. After moving to England my mum sadly passed away and I now live with my dad and older brother.

4, I have an extremely varied taste in music and will listen to just about anything.

5, I am currently studying A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Modern History which I really enjoy.

6, I have always wanted to learn a foreign language but have never got round to it. I only got as far as GCSE french.

7, When I was younger my voice allowed me to perform infront of thousands in a Blackpool theatre in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". Unfortunately after my voice broke it was no longer as appealing to the public :P

8, I am very interested in the subjects of History, Science and Mythology and am always trying to further my knowledge of them.

9, My favourite type of people are those who can make me laugh and I love to make people laugh ("funniest boy" - my high school yearbook thankyou very much lol :P)

10, I have recently become a huge tennis fan and watched the 2008 Wimbledon final again about a week ago. I think most would agree it was one of the best finales ever! :D

11, My birthday is on Valentines day which usually means that people are either very happy or very miserable on the day.

12, I watch a good bit of TV and enjoy Scrubs, Friends, the Simpsons and Peep Show.

13, If the Simpsons didn't exist I wouldn't know half of what I do lol.

14, I don't tend to read books apart from fact or reference books...that is how sad I am :P (Exceptions are of course Dan Brown as some may know)

15, I went to Kavos with 8 mates last year and it was the best holiday ever! I am going to Zante with 11 mates this year and hope to top it!

16, My favourite food is pizza. I will eat any form of pizza and will always be satisfied. Actually, I'm not a very fussy eater and will eat most things that aren't rediculously spicey.

17, I am the head waiter in a restaurant in which I have worked for almost 3 years. Its a great job as I have got to know all the customers which regularly come in for their Sunday roast.

18, I love quiz shows (millionnaire and eggheads being the best). In 2007 I was asked by my high school to take part in an annual "Top of the Fylde" quiz, which I managed to win, scoring the second highest score ever.

19, I get really annoyed with my rubbish memory and spend alot of time on wikipedia looking up things which I used to know :(

20, I went to Berlin and Poland last year with my college in relation to the Nazi Germany  topic which I had been studying. During this trip I saw several sites of historical significance. The one which made the greatest impact on me was my visit to Auschwitz.

21, I have applied to study medicine and am waiting to hear from Glasgow and Newcastle.

22, When I was a baby I could't get to sleep unless I was next to a washing machine haha.

23, If I had to choose someone to meet it would either be Kim Peek (rainman) or Kevin Ashman (from Eggheads). A bit strange I know.

24, Apart from wanting to study medicine my future is very unclear. I guess I'm waiting for someone to come along or for something to happen which will help me choose my path...a lottery win would be preferred.

25, Erm...ok...my favourite films are Braveheart and Gladiator. These films can draw me into their storylines no matter how many times I watch them and that is what I believe to be a good film. They also remind me of the happier times of my life :)

Thanks alot for taking the time to read my attempt to make myself seem interesting lol.

Any comments would be great, I'm fairly new to this site and would really like to meet a few new people.
