Not much new to talk about really except for my poor cat who has 24 stitches in her leg as a result of a bite from an overly aggressive cat in my neighbourhood.  I have to find the owner and get them to pay the vet bill!  It was over $600!

 

I am trying to teach myself classical Greek this summer and it is slow going and very confusing but everything I manage to understand even a little bit will make the class that much less difficult this coming fall.

 

Flying out to Winnipeg tomorrow to meet my hubby and help him find an apartment there, he is being transferred there for two years, after that I hope it's the Maritimes because I've never been there.  He spent a year or two in PEI when he was a little boy but he doesn't really remember it much so he would like that too!

 

I have to drive my future daughter-in-law to work tomorrow as her ride is not going in.  The poor girl works half an hour from the nearest bus stop but it's just for the summer so she isn't complaining too much.

 

I've managed to get very fat this past few years.  Trying to figure out what to do about that and why it happened, yah I know I eat too much and I drink too much, why is the question.

 

well I best get back to the quizzes and start submitting new questions, that's a great way to pick up 50 points when you've done all the quizzes you are interested in lol.

I always forget I have this blog.  Well summer is sort of here and I am bored.  bored. bored.  lol

 

hubby is moving to winnipeg soon so there will be a new city to explore and enjoy.  some of my kids moved to ottawa so i have that to experience and learn. 

 

wow one more year of undergrad.  holy cows it feels weird.  i can't believe the time has gone so quickly.

 

where has my whole life gone?  it's been a flash.  one wonders why we bother.  why does anyone fight when there is such a short time allotted to us?

i just noticed my last post was in March! holy cows it's September now.  I am in way over my head in one of my courses, American Foreign Relations.  supposed to be a history course but it's poly-sci.  and its 20th century stuff, i never go past the reformation in any detail.  my life is in the ancient past (and the wars of the roses).  darn it all i can't do a master's in classics, i am too weak in the languages so it will now have to be history.  don't really know if i'm up for though.  well i have a year and a half left to figure it out.

going to visit the hubby again.  doing okay with marks, low 80s mostly, but was hoping for more to augment my low in latin (low 70s).  getting to crunch time, the semester is almost over and papers are becoming due.  then exams.  then summer school.  problem is when august comes and i have nothing to do i am lost and end up buying my books early and reading in advance.  i swear this year i will not do that.  i will veg for august.

wow time flies, the semesters get faster every time.  3 midterms and a presentation this week.  i hate presentations.  mine is tomorrow on a book called the Fur Trade in Canada, interesting stuff but damn i hate presentations. 

 

off to visit the hubby in alberta on friday.  should be a larf.  bunch of papers to write and research while i'm there though sob boo hoo lol

 

dang i'm tired.  think i'll go lie down for a while then finish my presentation.
