I'mmmmmmmmmmm back!

Yay! I'm finally back online for good. I finally caved in and bought the piece I needed. It seemed like it took forever to arrive from eBay but I received a nice early Thanksgiving present. It was super easy to install so if any of you ever crack your laptop screen into a thousand pieces and think that you have to buy a new computer, you don't! It's totally fixable and you can buy the piece for like a hundred dollars. I missed this site and all of you so much and couldn't wait to come back to it even though I can't have a gold membership right now. With Christmas and my vacation coming up, I am pretty much tapped out of money at the moment. Oh well, being non-gold is better than nothing!

Things are going pretty good in my life right now. Koty is doing well and is super excited about going to see Mickey and "Santee" coming. I spoiled her so badly this year and she is going to love everything. School is going good too. No computer= awesome grades it seems! Lol! I am in the process of applying to nursing schools now that I have all of my prerequisites almost finished up. Anyways, that's all for about now! I got to catch up on my quizzing. Talk to ya later! Hi all readers of my blog and peeps I consider to be my friends! I broke my computer so I don't know when I will be back online. I cracked the LCD screen and although, I know how to fix it myself, I don't have the money right now. I will miss you all and hope to be back online soon. Take care!

Awhile back someone asked me what are ten unique things that I would like to do before I die so here they are.

1. I want to go on a canopy tour in Costa Rica.
2. I want to see the North Pole.
3. I want to have a one nite stand.
4. I want to dance on top of a bar.
5. I want to dye my hair a reddish color.
6. I want to go on a safari in Africa.
7. I want to get married and stay married for like 50 yrs.
8. I want to swim with the dolphins.
9. I want to write a book.
10. I want to learn how to dance like the girls in music videos.

I am posting this because I am about ready to do one of these things. Lol! No, not the one nite stand! I have finally worked up the nerve to dye my hair red. I know that to some people, it doesn't seem like something that scary to do but I am one of those plain jane types who never takes a fashion risk like this, so I am a little nervous about it. If it looks ok to me, I will post a pic. Now, what are your ten unique things to do before you die?

Another quiz online!

My newest quiz went online today and I am so happy. I made it because one of my teammates was joking around saying that no one ever makes a George Clooney quiz that she can get a ten on it so I decided to surprise her. The quiz was probably the worst one I've ever created because I don't know much about George and switched tenses while writing it. My poor editor was really patient though and helped me to see my mistakes. I had to submit it like three times before it actually went online and believe me, I was getting pretty frustrated. I have had correction notes before but they were only for a few minor errors. I was also feeling a little antsy because I have another surprise quiz in the works and would like to see it go online at a specific time. I sent a note to one of the editors of that section but haven't heard anything back yet so wish me luck with that all.

On a more personal note, I am really enjoying my break from school. I took Koty out to lunch today and to Wal-mart to start my Christmas shopping. Yes, you heard me right Christmas shopping! I am starting super early this year because we are going to Florida right before Christmas and I want to be sure that I have enough money to spend there. I won't be spending as much on Koty as I did last year but I don't think she will notice as she has so many toys already but I think that she will make out good. Toys have been reduced here right now because it's the summer and they want to get rid of the old stuff before they put out the Christmas toys so I am making out really well. I got her a brand new Barbie pony that opens his mouth for three dollars today. You really can't beat that! Anyways to those of you who read this, have a great day and enjoy whatever you are doing!

New badge!

Today I got my chatterbox badge. I am glad that today is the day I won it because I feel like everytime I post on those boards that the crowd is out to get me. For example, I threw out a suggestion yesterday on the funtrivia improvement thread to let us post messages in color and was instantly vetoed on that idea. Now, I don't sit there and fight about others ideas because that is not the type of person that I am and feel that everyone is entitled to their own opinions but I guess others don't feel that way. There was a message on that thread stating that maybe one should worry about the quality of what they are saying instead of how nice it looks. Well to that person, I have to say, colors make the world a wonderful and interesting place and maybe I feel that what I do say has quality but that I would like it to be fun too. I don't think we need to get obnoxious and overbearing with the colors like some people have done but what's wrong with some blue or green or purple. I don't know, I feel like I am in the movie "Pleasantville" sometimes on this site because some people feel like colors are evil or something and should be censored. I guess some people think we should have a black and white world where everything looks the same and everyone thinks the same. Also, don't get me wrong. I saw the message stating that some people can't read the colors because of eye problems but I am sure everyone can read this and it's not in the basic black Arial font. So forgive me for using my blog to complain today but that is just the feeling I get from them boards. I am a very friendly person but I guess others aren't. I thought this site was called "Fun"trivia not "I'msupersmartandI'llproveitbybeingmeantowardsthosewithdifferentopinions"trivia.
