You suddenly have five million dollars. What one thing about you, or your life, would change?
I'd be rich.
Everything would be a lot easier. I could buy what I want, but I'd still keep my job. Let the rich get richer. :D
And in the words of the Barenaked Ladies, I'd buy you a monkey. (Haven't you always wanted a monkey?)
What is the very first thought in your head when you wake up in the morning?
Usually I think to set my alarm ahead another hour, then I fall back to sleep. Repeat until the afternoon.
Who do you seek advice from?
I am all-knowing- it's such a horrible flaw. I hate seeking advice because I feel like I know everything (though I know I don't). I go to friends and family.
Say one nice thing about the town you live in:
We don't have that steel mill smell like Hamilton does nor the pollution of Toronto, yet we're cold enough in the winter to be like Manitoba.
Who would portray you if a movie was made based on your life?
Jude Law. Looks nothing like me, but he's in everything...
Name an album that is good from start to finish:
Coldplay's 'A Rush of Blood to the Head' or Jack's Mannequin's 'Everything in Transit'.
I don't like rap or country. Everything else is fair game. Metric's 'Old World Underground, Where Are You Now' CD is good too.
What was the last insulting thing somebody said directly about you?
My dad insulted my taste in comedy. He's the kind that usually needs a laugh track in order to catch the punch line.
Do you live by the standards written in The Holy Bible?
To some extent, everyone does whether it be to follow a commandment or otherwise. I really haven't read the Bible or had interest in religion, but I think that some of the morals and ethics from the book are something to be followed.
Were you popular in high school?
In certain groups. I mean, everyone was in groups back then, and I'd jump around every day. Since I went to two high schools, I had a lot of friends from public school, high school #1, and high school #2. I guess I was pretty popular. :P
What's the drawback in living to be 100?
Being responsible for using a lot of gasoline...I'm big on ozone lately.
That and acually having to have your family buy a 'Happy 100th Birthday' card from Hallmark. How many of those actually get sold?!
