Hey everyone! It's been way too long since I've posted a blog so I thought I'd take some time while I can to write a little bit. As most of you probably know I had my son of August 15th ( a month old already! ) His name is Austin David and he weighed 7lbs1oz. Life as I knew it will never be the same, but I mean that in a good way. I never knew how much you could possibly love something until I had my son. Don't get me wrong motherhood is the hardest thing I've ever done, but the rewards for it are awsome! I truly miss my 9 hours on uninterupted sleep but hey it's a small price to pay to have the little man in my life. Darah is doing so much better than I thought he would do too ( sorry hunny I don't mean anything bad by that!) It's just that Darah's an only child, has only 3 cousins and has never been around babies so I was just kind of worried about how he would cope with being a father, but it turns out that I worried for nothing. It's amazing watching them bond and spend time together just getting to know each other. Everytime one of us gets called mom or dad we automatically get a huge smile on our face. I'm also really loving being off work. I mean I knew that I hated my job when I was there, but I didn't know how much I would love being at home. In a years time when it's time to go back to work me and Darah are going to sit down and go over our finacial situation and see if I can afford to be a stay at home mom. I'm just so much happy at home in a mother role than I ever was at any of my jobs that I've had.

I've also really missed you all at Fun Trivia. I've checked in from time to time but usually I don't have time to leave any posts and email anyone. I didn't relize how much Fun Trivia was a part of my life until I didn't have as much time to spend on it! Anyways Austin is calling for some food so I have to cut this short but I just want to thank everyone for all the kind words and messages that have been left for me, Darah and Austin. you guys are awsome!

So I don't know if anyone has noticed that it's been awhile since I've blogged but I've had writers block, or baby brain, take your pick. Nothing really exciting has been going on aways. I guess I can't expect too much living in a hicktown with the population of 1000. The town next to mine is having it's homecoming in a few weeks, however being pregnant at a homecoming is a great big bore :( I'm just going to wallow in self pity for a second or two here... There, I'm glad that's all out of my system.

I went to McDonalds for supper tonight, it tasted like crap to be quite honest, but cooking at home every night at the week starts to also get crappy. A girl just can't win I tell you. We then made our way to the good ole store known as WalMart. I didn't really get a lot because were kind of on a tight budget, but I did manage to get tums ( the heart burn at night thing sucks!) gripe water ( been curing fussy babies for years now) some nursing pads ( crazy little things, who knew!), some baby lotion, oil and shampoo. Shopping for anything baby makes me quite a happy little shopper. I then got the normal dirty looks from fellow shoppers, I relize I'm only 20 and look younger than I am but sometimes it really gets to me.

Take last weekend for example, me and Darah actually got out of this town and went to the city to do a little shopping and since he hates standing outside the change room for hours on end while I try on clothes we go our seperate ways. So anyways I get to my all time favourite store Stiches and flat out get ignored by the sales lady so I just walked back into the change room with out her coming back and putting up a little number on the door. Well as soon as I do that she finally pays attention to me and comes back, knocks on the door loudly and in a rude voice asks me how many pieces of clothing I have. Then after I get done trying on all the clothes I walk out and there's this group of girls standing there, as soon as I make my entrance they all stop talking and just stare at me. Then they only have the decency to wait until I'm 2 feet away before they start whispering harsh things about me.

Now usually I'm not a violent person, but believe me that day I could have knocked somebody out. I then found Darah and was close to tears, and being the good boyfriend he is he told me he'd go back to stiches and yell at these girls for me, however I didn't think that would do any good so I just told him I wanted to get the heck out of there. I had money to burn and only ended up with 1 pair of capris!

Anyways I feel much better now that I got that off my chest! Tomorrow me and Darah are going down to a different city with my best friend and her boyfriend to shop. Ha look it me, tight budget and still shopping! Hopefully we have a better day then last weekend, but I"m sure it won't be a problem considering Amanda is the kind of person who doesn't let people get away with being rude.

Anyways I guess I've done enough whinning for one night, so everyone have a good weekend and I'll blog again soon.

There were tons of season finales on last night. I watched America's Next Top Model and The Amazing Race. I was so happy when Jade went home on ANTM, she was such an

arrogant, self absorbed, stuck up individual. I had liked Danielle from day 1 but they kept saying she needed to work on her accent or else she'd never be able to sell Cover Girl products ( HELLO who can turn off their accent? ) Anyways I was sure I would be disapointed and that Joanie would win, but then to my surprise Danielle won!! I gave out a big "Woop" and did a little dance, much to my boyfriends amusment :) Then we watched The Amazing Race and it had my heart beating a millions miles a minute, the compition was extremley tight! I really didn't want the "Frat Boys" to win because they were a little too cocky for my taste, but have no fear once again my pick " The Hippies" came out on top! And after eating 2 huge bowls of grasshoppers last week they deserved it!
