My son came in from Alaska on the 18th of Nov. and left on the 30th, so it has been a non-stop whirlwind.The time just really flew by. We did go to Louisiana to the Coushatta Casino, but as usual I didn't win any thing. My son was a big winner so he filled in for my loss.Thought that was very generous of him.I told him, he had the Midas touch.He would buy the scratch-off tickets here and twice he won $177.00. My sister-in -law and I bought some and she won a $1.00, guess what I won? ZILCH--LOL.but it was fun none the less. My birthday was on the 24th and the following Thursday was Thanksgiving Day, so with that and eating out a lot I am sure I added a few pounds.I will have to cut back now with Christmas coming up. Have to watch that old age spread lol. It is taking me a few days to get back in my old routine.I missed playing FT for a week because my telephone service was out,then had a lot of company but I am not complaining, I really enjoyed it all. Now it seems very quite here,all my children are musicians so we had a lot of that going on too.

My son is coming in a few weeks from Alaska. Have not seen him since Christmas '05. So I have been baking and cooking up a storm.So far I have four Cheese Rolls,an Apple pie,Boiled chicken to make King Ranch casserole and an Enchilada casserole in the freezer.We will go out to eat but this will be handy for in between times.I can't wait.We will also be going to Louisiana for a few days to see relatives and just maybe a casino or two LOL.He will be here for my birthday and Thanksgiving, which will be so nice.I also have two other sons,a daughter and three grands that live here.Should make for a very happy time.Guess I better get busy, thought I would take a break and see what is happening on FT.Have a Good Day everyone.

Some days are uppers and some days are downers (like the one I had yesterday.) I seem to forget that.Well today is an upper,I received the second Monster badge for reaching the 10,000 questions mark.I do have 10 questions to go, but I saw on the chat board that is how they are giving them. I'll take it, for sure. Happy Wednesday everyone!

Everything was going fine this morning,doing some housework,playing games on FT,doing fairly well.But then--I played Lord of Obscurity and got all excited because I had gotten 10 right and was in first place with 112 seconds. I thought--all right I just might get that badge. Well I checked back when that hour was up and I had won and received 70 points.So I thought--okay so where is the badge? Until I looked again and realized that I had to have 950 points and I had 888, talk about having your bubble burst--it did.So I will keep trying, but the pessimist in me says I will probably never get it because it is one tough quiz--at least it is for me.Okay so I am through venting, can't say I didn't warn you LOL Hope everyone else has better luck and have a Good Day.

I don't really have much to say, but being I haven't posted in awhile I thought I would at least say "Hello". We have been having very nice weather here in Texas, sunny and cool.I have really been enjoying it.It was unbearable in the summer with the temps hovering around 100 degrees.It won't be long before the holidays are here.Just around the corner.It is hard to believe how the time flies.Don't they say that when you are having fun lol? Haven't been doing much of that lately.I did go to see a movie Tues."Nights in Rodanthe" with Richard Gere. A good love story and it was only $2.50 to get in for the matinee, talk about a bargain,I rather see that than all the action movies they show now. Guess it is time to turn in....Good Night
