I'm Back.

Well, I'm back! More random than ever before. Yet also more serious. So, on to buisness.

Issue: Ghosts

I have never seen a "normal" ghost. Beleve it or not, (I myself doubt my sighting) I saw the ghost of a dinosaur. Anyway, Would anyone like to share their ghost stories? Or Paranormal stories in general.

Issue: Smoking on Sparks Street.

On Sparks street, near the Parlement buildings in Ottawa, Canada, the ground is so littered with cigarettes, that the smel is there no matter when you go there. Ironicaly, the signs posted all around the street read: "Sparks Street, A Breath Of Fresh Air". Wow.

Issue: Cutting down forests

In my town, the are a lot of (expected) changes. What used to be a small town is quickly becoming another average, genaric town. Walmart and all. (not that I have anything against Walmart) Anybody else have a story like that?

Sorry I could't get in any funny stuff. But I have to go.

Freewebs/piczo

Hi person, your most likely thousands of miles away from me, anyway, today I've decided to voice my opinion about web sites like "piczo" and "freewebs.com". My friends say they alow you to create your own website, I disagree. You get a web page. I have spent hours learning html code to make my own web site, Thats not what you do on these sites. I woud be impressed if one of my friends had a site called ex. www.large,furryanimals.com

the darwin awards

The darwin awards: One guy would have people watch as he ran at his 10th story bullet proof window. Lets put it this way, the glass was bullet proof, the window frame wasn't.

Oddities

If any one else has ever expericenced a wierd, unusual oddity in there home, then they will know that they can be interesting in conversations, but relatively annoying.

My house has one of these, the internet shuts down when someone turns on the stove. It can really take the fun out of internet access. Does anyone else have a strange oddity as such? Comment, we all would like to hear about it.

opinions

Thanks for the sympathy people, I mean that sincerely, and sarcasticly.

Anyway, I'll get on with it, I'm impatient, thats all sorry I upset so many people.

Anyway, (again) here are todays issues.

Issue 1: Violent video games. This is a dangereous topic, but I'm using it anyway.

here's an article I wrote on the subject in grade 6:

Today I would like to inform my readers about following the video games set in place by the society called ERSB.  I believe that everyone should follow these ratings because I have seen and read about what happens when people do not.  For instance:  I have a friend who will not play any game unless it involves violence.  He has played games rated TEEN and MATURE by ESRB, does that not tell you something?  My friends who play TEEN games are “different” from me, they swear and have a pronounced knowledge of guns and other things I cannot mention in an article for school.  My Dad however, is in his forties, he does not swear or act violent after playing games rated MATURE (“Far Cry”).  Also ESRB know what they’re talking about, they accept complaints.  Now I’ve made my introduction, I’ll state my case:

Kids who play violent video games are more violent than others.  I know this because all my friends who play violent video games are much more violent than me.  I rarely play violent games (TEEN+) and when I do I become very irritable and prone to temper tantrums (seriously).  An example of how my friends are more violent (as stated above) is my friend who only enjoys games that involve swearing and violence.  This friend does not obey the rating on the box of the game.

My Dad is in his forties; he plays MATURE games all the time.  He however is 17+ he does not display any violence like my friends.  I know this because I watched my dad play a video game entitled “Far Cry” (MATURE) for six months, he did not show any changes what so ever, and he was still the best Dad in the world!  I believe this because he is old enough to know the difference between video games and real life. This proves that if you follow the ratings you’ll be fine.

ESRB-the society that rates the games do not base their decision on one person, but on the opinion of three, they review testers behaviors and do research alone, then come together to make their decision. This ensures that the ratings are as fair as possible. ESRB also accepts complaints on their web site; to make sure every ones opinion is heard. They work with people to figure out what games are appropriate for different age groups.

This is why you should follow these ratings, for your own well being. So remember, you don’t want to insist on violence or throw tantrums; just FOLOW THE ESRB RATINGS, they’re there for you.

If this sounds lame take pity on my grade 6, past self. Please no flames, (I have enough of them.) I believe that some people just weren't meant to play violent video games, then there are people who are fine playing them. Who Agrees?

Issue 2: Interest. What are all you people out there looking for in my blog? I need ideas. Also, I have a question about the rules of the site, we're not allowed to put stories in our blogs are we? Let me know.

Issue 3: Grades. What is your report card like? Do you get money for what you get? If you do, I find this a questionable practice, because if, like me, you are an intelligent person, and get high grades, you don't get money for it. Fair? NO. Opinions please?

Issue 4: My name. Raptor lord # 3 to long for this site. Has any one checked out www.fanfiction.net ?

Well that's it for today loyal, and unloyal readers. :) :(

Why is no one replying to me?

I just learned that I have to use capitals in the places where they are needed. Ok then. Why is no one replying to me? I'm confused.

aw, man

I think I ruined any chance of respect i had on this site by submitting a message for the board with a typo. :( OH WELL! At least my brain isn't being sucked out of my random head.

Yeah, now that I read it, I was being a cry baby, thanks for the input.

shrink.
