No, not really. This is about baseball. 

 

As a life-long Red Sox fan, our motto always used to be "wait till next year".  Then came that fateful year of 2004 and the miracle of the bloody sock.  If that wasn't good enough, then came 2007.

 

We got spoiled.

 

This year, we were in first on the 4th of July.  That always used to be a predictor of who would win the pennant.  Not this year.

 

Now the Sox are just fighting for a wild-card spot this year, and it's not looking good.  Even our ace, Josh Beckett, couldn't hold a lead last night.

 

If this keeps up, I'm gonna have a heart attack.  Glad I have health care.

Except that it doesn't get broadcast to cell phones throughout the world?  I wouldn't know.  I don't tweet.
